Gemstone Y50 Performance Anti-Fog Safety Glasses with Side Shields

Finally had to break up with stoggles when my fourth pair broke. I was nervous to try other brands but this came highly recommended by a scrub tech. Working in the OR where I can’t touch my face I needed a pair of glasses that stay on and don’t fog. These are prefect. I can’t speak to longevity but they are cute and functional.

Excellent protection and comfort! These safety glasses are great quality! They fit comfortably and provide full protection, especially with the side shields. The lenses are clear and don’t fog up easily, which is perfect for long work shifts. I’ve bought them multiple times because they’re durable, lightweight, and reliable. Definitely one of the best safety glasses I’ve used!

I personally do not use these glasses, but my mom works at a factory that just recently started requiring safety glasses. She said that the ones they provide at work gives her headaches, does not fit her correctly and fogs up throughout the day. She asked me to look for some safety glasses and I came across these, showed her and she liked how it looked! She says they have a nice style to them, and that they don’t look bulky so she wanted to try it! We received it the very next day which was nice, and she LOVED them. She says they don’t feel like safety glasses, that the glasses were clear and they felt like she was looking out of glasses and not plastic like the safety glasses her job provides. She also said that they do NOT fog up. They do not hurt her ears, or side of her face. Overall she LOVES them! She has me ordering 2-3 each week for her friends and they all love them too!! So far she has bought 12 total for multiple people at work, and more and more people come to her to order these glasses! She’s known as the safety glasses at work and she’s the GO TO if anyone wants these lmao! Clearly they are doing something right with these ;) & for such a low price it’s amazing ! Quality is great, they have yet to break or start to loosen up and fall apart. I tell her she can flip these since so many people at work want some and the price is so low! But she’s a good person and smiles & says no, she just wants to help people out. Thank you to whoever invented these thangssss

These are very solid safety glasses. I really love the wayfarer-esque style. My only complaint and the reason they aren’t a perfect 5 star for me is because they started to rub my nose raw after a few sweaty 10 hr shifts in a row. On my normal 8hr shift schedule I have no complaints. I hope they eventually have a model with a non slip rubber on the nose.

I’m really impressed with these MAGID Y50 Safety Glasses! They provide excellent eye protection against impact and debris while still feeling lightweight and comfortable to wear for long periods. The ANSI Z87.1 high-impact rating gives me confidence that my eyes are well protected on the job or during DIY projects

They are a decent product appropriate for some limited uses. The lenses have no special coating beyond their claimed anti fog coating, no anti glare, blue light, or polarization, but they are dirt cheap so what do you expect. The most important thing to note is that they will only work for smaller people. I am an average sized man (for the US) and they were much too small for my average sized face. The lenses also do not block any UV light. I should have payed better attention before ordering them but I tend to assume all glasses have this. Anything besides costume glasses should block all UV light. If you are going to have glasses on your face for hours at a time you might as well have the benefit of protecting your eyes from UV light. The lenses also aren't perfectly clear and that gets worst towards the edges. Even if they fit my face I wouldn't want to wear them all day. The mostly transparent side shields highly distort anything you see through your peripheral vision so while they are better than an opaque material if having clarity in your peripheral vision is important than these aren't for you. If you need safety glasses for all day use spend 10-20 more dollars and you can get a very good pair of glasses with almost perfect clarity and various coatings. Try searching for clear lens sunglasses or sport glasses. For short term use these glasses are fine. I am sending them back so I cant say anything about their long term use. They seem like they would be durable in terms of not breaking easily. I cant say how easily or not easily the lenses pick up scratches which is something other reviewers listed as a concern.

Very happy with these. They are expensive compared to the 3m safety glasses I usually wear but I wanted to try something different.
