I am about to write the best review in amazon history...So there I was on the top of the biggest hill in my neighborhood to my left my sister to my right my brother. We had all gotten skateboards within three months of each other and we were finally ready to take on the big hill. Anyways we decided to wait a couple of seconds in between going down the hill to make sure we didn't crash into each other. (we also wore helmets) So my sister starts down the hill and everything's looking good so I start going a couple of seconds later I can hear my brother behind me. I pushed off really hard at the beginning and realize I'm going a little too fast. I try to drag my foot on the street to slow down. But that's when I realize my worst fear has come true the dreaded pothole... my foot catches and bends to the side CRUNCH! I fall to the floor my elbow and my knee are covered in blood. My sister and my brother rush over to me and I know that I need to get out of the road. As I try to stand up I realize that I can't move my ankle. I have to roll my bloody scraped body to the side of the road and I'm laying in the grass at that point my sister went to go get our other sister she is sixteen and very responsible; also our mom is putting our little sister to bed so nobody gets my mom. Anyways my sister isn't very athletic but when I tell you she sprinted I mean it, I have never seen anyone let alone my unathletic sister run that fast. As she gets to the hill my sister seems surprisingly calm. She is a quiet kid so this is pretty natural. My older sister then tells my brother to get me an ice pack so he starts down the hill. Going surprisingly slow and starts spinning around the tree. This is when my oldest sister did the most surprising thing of the night she stares down at my brother and screams GO in the loudest but deepest voice I have ever heard. When I tell you her scream sent an echo through the whole neighborhood I mean it. He gets back with the ice but there is only one problem. I am halfway up the hill and I can't walk. My sister runs down the hill and to her car which she helps me get into. My mom decides to come outside and watch us skateboard and realizes that my sister's car is gone just then my sister pulls into the garage and my mom does not look very happy. ( I forgot to mention that my mom actually told us not to go down that hill because someone was going to be hurt earlier that night.) I hop inside and my friend's mom who is a nurse comes over. At this point, my ankle is swelling us something fierce so she tells us we need to go to the hospital at the hospital they let us know that is just a sprain after taking some x-rays. I go home take some Advil and start walking on it again. About two weeks later we get a call saying it might be broken after all. So we go back to the hospital and I get an MRI on my ankle. Once the results come back I learn that it is not only broken but I also tore not one but two ligaments. I'm on crutches for about four weeks and then I start physical therapy. About two weeks into physical therapy I know something isn't right we go to the doctor and he says we need a CAT scan so I get one. As it turns out nothing has healed. I am scheduled for surgery and about two weeks later get the surgery. I am now currently on crutches and starting another round of physical therapy in two weeks. I originally had the skateboarding accident on June 28th I got my surgery done on September 27. The recovery time for the surgery is six months. So not only is this injury going to waste 9 months of my year, but it has also affected my everyday abilities such as walking around school and being involved in sports.Now, you're probably wondering why would I rate this skateboard 5 stars?Well after 34,000 dollars in medical bills and nine months of my life wasted I have had some serious life reflection and I realized that not only was this accident 100% my fault but I also realized that the skateboard was 100% undamaged. If that's not good quality then I don't know what is this skateboard can withstand more impact than my body could and I would 100% buy this again.The first picture is when I first broke itThe second picture is after surgery!!! Not sure if my board is not as good. This is Not a quality that can give 3 years warranty. I only use it for 1 month and the board already not in good condition. I have to use Super clue to make it ok to continue using it. Not a good user experience. It should be a high quality skateboard if the board is not like that. Wheels and other are perfect. The board is worse than the other Lower price board I have.

I liked the design and liked that my 6 year old grandson felt comfortable on it. It was a big hit.
