Where's the upside down pineapple? Does loving this rack make me a "swinger"
I bought an Lectric XP4 e-bike that I wanted to transport on my Class B Ram Promaster van. When I added the rear storage box, it did have an option to add bike "pegs" but the weight limit was 40 lbs. Due to the rear storage box, I needed a hitch that I could easily swing away to access my rear doors and things in my storage box. There are pricier options but the build quality of the Kuat is top notch! It's also very easy to assemble. Like, don't have your life together and you're leaving for a trip that same day and can still get it on your vehicle safely lol I wasn't sure if it was compatible with the Iron Deer bike rack that I also bought on Amazon, but when I was watching an Iron Deer install video (on YT) the vehicle in the video had a Kuat rack. I can access the latch from either side. When I first installed it, my dumb butt was crawling under the rear storage box to lift up the latch then swing it away. You can access it Sylvester Stallone style by going "Over the Top". It comes with a hitch lock which is nice. I also really love that you have the option to choose which side you want it to pivot to. For reference, even when all the "junk in the trunk" of my van I did not need to use a hitch extender. I even have the full size basket mounted on my bike and it doesn't rub up against the box. All in all Kuat is a quality product and at a very fair price. Buy once, cry once. I took the whole setup down to Mammoth Cave this past weekend and I didn't have a single issue. If you also want a rack that is awesome I love this Iron Deer one.

High quality
This is an excellent high quality extension for my bike rack. It allows the bike rack to swing out giving me unrestricted access to my truck bed.

Love it
This swing away extension is great, worked very well for our campervan to hold bikes with a bike rack. It clicks open at 90degrees then over 90 after that. Very strong, can even stand on it when checking the van roof. Though we must've backed into something as it's slightly off center now, but still usable for the bike rack, but not to attach something to tow perhaps. That's my fault, not of the item, so be careful backing up with this on!

Good swing mount
I purchased to use in mounting a Yakima bike carrier to the back of a Sprinter van. The installation was easier than I thought. It included all the tools and the instructions were easily understandable. The build quality matched my high expectations. Both the rack and the included tool. I still wish the latching lever moved down to lock (vs pull up). While if the latch was to release the locking pin holds everything place, I still wish locking the latch was with gravity. A very small quibble. I like the swing away auto locking positions at 90º and 120º. My only other wish is that it was narrow front to back so everything didn't stick out from the back of the vehicle as much. I searched everywhere for something that was narrower and the only product I found was discontinued. The Pivot V2 is not bad - actually it is the best I found, but it could be reduced for my application. I am likely to cut down the hitch post on my Yakima rack as it has excess length for my needs. Happy with the purchase and would comfortably recommend to family and friends.

Great fit for a 2024 Bronco and super quality
This is really solid. After figuring out how to tighten it up, it is rock solid. I have a bike rack that connects to this so that I can still access the tailgate door on my Bronco. This works great to move the bike rack forward, to avoid the spare (35" spare) ant it opens wide enough so you can access the tailgate. I'd highly recommend if you have a Bronco. Great quality product.

A necessity if your Class B van has double rear doors
I have a Ford Transit Class B camper and I have both a bike rack and a utility rack I use so I am swapping them back and forth. Once you install either of these racks you cannot fully open the back doors of the van. Because of that a swing-arm is necessary. I bought the Kiat pivit 2 because it had already been tested with my Hollywood bike rack and deemed ok by the Hollywood folks. This swing-arm when installed not only comes with its own lock but also an internal tightening mechanism which tightens the hitch internally with the turn of a hex nut. Because two ebikes is a lot of weight on a hitch I added an additional u-bolt where the pieces come together to give it more structure strength. When tightened there is very little bounce with my bikes on the rack. It is nice to release the two locks and swing my bikes all the way out and have full access to the back of the van. Its a great product and necessity for those have Class B vans with doors in the back.

Fits my Promaster cargo van
To be fair, this is a day one review. If something bad happens I'll update. This fits my cargo van unlike the Yakima. It is much more sleek and lightweight than the $300 generic swing rack sold on Amazon. I loaded it up and did a quick drive and am very happy with it so far. Little to no sway. Simple to use. My only real complaint is that the design of it means my license plate is covered when my 1Up bike rack is empty and folded. That's not allowed here so will have to figure something out. I was planning to purchase the 1Up RakAttach, but at $600 plus $70 shipping, plus a two week delivery, I opted for the Kuat and think I made a good choice.

Beefy
This is a substantial swing. I really like the locking mechanism. When locked that thing isn’t going to swing at all along with the secondary catch this thing is solid. Also the integrated anti rattle built into this is a game changer I can’t stand a rattling hitch. I have a 2022 ford bronco and this clears the swing tailgate in all positions. Great product

Excellent design
The Kuat swing arm is a great piece of kit. Using a hitch receiver provides flexibility and utility not delivered by other products. You can also order left (US Driver's) or right side swing versions. If not using a Kuat bike rack you may need to think through the arm’s secondary hitch mounting and anti-rattle devices to get the best solution for your needs e.g. 'LetsGoAero' silent hitch pins. I’ve used a EU ISO std ball hitch with a Thule bike rack (Thule wont sell their hitch version in Europe :( ) Overall I can’t fault it.

Easy to install, very sturdy
Installed on my F350 carrying a Northern Lite 10-2 camper. Needed a 4' extension, and a stair modification, but it works perfectly.
