Fit my 99 EZGO TXT perfectly
These are a perfect fit for my 99 EZ-Go gas cart, and they worked perfectly. Cart stops like brand new now, I'm totally satisfied. Very easy to install, just remove the axle nut and brake drum, remove the 4 retaining bolts on the backing plate, and assemble in reverse order. Repeat for the other side. That's all there is to it, took about an hour to do both sides.

Easy install
Had to do hubs on my cart and one of my brakes was missing some hardware. So I ordered a set of these. The install was very easy to do. The passanger side cable seems to be to short now but I believe that’s a cause of the lift. So far the brakes are holding up well. I would recommend

Great replacement brake assembly for an EZGO!!
These will fit any TXT EZGO. All you need to do is disconnect your brake cable and remove the four bolts from the mounting flange on the axle and you a done. Save yourself time and headaches and just buy this entire assembly. These carts get gravel dust, dirt, and rust built up in them and they lose the ability to self adjust. This make your brakes like new again.

Much better braking!
Easy installation and the dramatically improved braking performance on my 2000 EZGO TXT. I thought there was a manufacturing issue because the right brake assembly backing was about 3mm thinner than the left (see pic). This caused the wheel hub not to sit flush against the backing. I ordered another set and had the same issue. I went ahead and installed and the brakes perform better than expected! I'm guessing this is only aesthetic and does not impact performance. Also, the torque specs for my cart is 18 ft lbs to mount the brake kit to the hub.

easy to install
I considered what it would cost to buy the brakes part by part. Buying the complete and already put together is the way to go. It is much faster to install without special tools.
