I had one of the pouch faraday ey vmbags... which worked for a few weeks then the signal started leaking through... to the point after a few months I never had to open the bag.So I got this thing. It's a metal box - no signal leak, heavy duty zipper, impressive. It fit my toyota 4unner keyfob no problem. It's bulky... the pouch lay flatter in the pocket, but the pouch leaked- this doesn't. Want to worry about your signal leaking get the pouch. Want peace of mind, get this box version. It's that simple.

Absolutely love this key fob case. There is a key ring on the inside of the case to hold your vehicle key fob, which fits perfectly inside the case. It works perfectly and does what it's meant to do. When zipped up, I cannot get into my vehicle at all. Even when inside the vehicle, it will not start when zipped up. When unzipped my key fob works as it should. This replaced another bulkier one that I was using that didn't look as nice and quickly started falling apart. The case looks nice, easy for me to keep track of and after 2 months of use has held up very well. I would recommend.

I've only had it for an hour, so I can't speak for durability, but here's what I CAN say:PROS:- Looks exactly like the picture. It's black with silver hardware and the "carbon fiber" print on it.It's important to note that it is only made to LOOK like carbon fiber - it is plastic (PU), which it DOES say in the description, so no surprises there.- Construction seems sturdy. As stated above, I can't speak for durability/longevity yet, but the stitching is tidy and even, the hardware (zipper & clip) function adequately, and the internal box/frame don't feel flimsy at all. I'm confident that if I dropped my fob in the parking lot, it would survive the fall while in this case.- Contrary to my first impression, which I can only assume was due to my own user error, this DOES block my '22 Subaru's signal. When my fob is fully enclosed in the case, even when not fully zipped, I can neither unlock my doors nor start the vehicle with it.(Originally I rated this a 2 star, as I thought it was false advertising about the signal blocking but liked everything else about the case. Now it gets 4 stars.I have no idea how the signal went through the first time I tested it, as I have not been able to duplicate.)CONS:- The hardware, while adequate, isn't the best. The clip and zipper are both rather stiff, and the zipper isn't the smoothest. That said, they work well enough. Time will tell how they hold up.OVERALL:It's a reasonably-priced ($16.99 as of this review), reasonably attractive, and reasonably well-made key fob case.Which is why it still got 2 stars instead of just 1 star when I thought it was falsely-advertised.This is one of three fob cases I bought at the same time (different brands), and this was the least expensive (the other two were leather and not advertised as signal-blocking).

Just got it today, immediately tested it out on my car and so far it does what it's supposed to. My key fob fits perfectly inside, see pics. The look and feel is absolutely luxurious feeling. I got the "Pure Black" or rather the black leather one. The zipper is nice and smooth, doesn't get stuck like some cheap zippers would do. Now to test how long the durability and functionality last, will update later.Update: November 17th 2020. Still doing its job as it should be, very pleased with it. Zipper has not given me any issues. Took a little while to get used to having my key fob in a protective case... got caught in the rain a couple times because I forgot to unzip it before running out to the car and door wouldn't let me in, of course, until I unzipped the case. Not to mention it still looks really classy; love the leatherJanuary 6th 2021- this thing is really cool it's still going strong. I don't have any issues with it at all, as long as the car keeps saying "key not detected" while I have it zipped up in this case you know it's working. I'm definitely buying more as gifts.

The actual size of the outside of the pouch is a lot bigger than the size of the inside of it where the key fob is placed. This makes the pouch extremely bulky and not useful for hanging the pouch to your belt. It is only good if someone is using a big purse and wants to put the pouch in their purse. Could be made a lot less bulky.

Did not work with my 2016 Ford Explorer.Closed and zipped properly and the door still unlocked. Very nice case! Wish it would have worked for our vehicle.

If you are like me and keep your keys on your belt loop, this will be bulky and heavy. This is a great purchase for women who keep their keys in their bags. Especially if you are using a tote, satchel, top handle(not the same as a satchel. IYKYK). Dropping your keys in a bag of those sizes-not an issue. But if you use a clutch or a wallet bag, this will not work. Like I said, it works and it is a good purchase. But I don't like keeping my keys in my bag because you never know if you face an emergency and need to get to your keys fast but you also want them to be "light" where if you have to run, you can. So keep this in mind. (And the five stars are not a mistake).

Product is used to shield key fob from hacking. Works great. High quality leather construction and fob for 2019 Subaru Ascent fits nicely.

Got these to have a faraday pouch when we are out and about. The pouch is well made and sturdy, with the hardware polished and looks very nice. It is not cheap but works far better than the fold over pouches I used before which eventually stopped working. The zipper pouch is easy to use, and there is a top and bottom section which closes together to secure the fob and prevent transmissions. the pouch itself is quite big but you don't expect this to be very slim to work properly. It is fine for my purse but will probably be too bulky for a man's pant pocket. That being said, it works well, looks well made and offers good protection, especially when we are away from home and don't have a lockbox at our disposal.
