It works!!
Wonderfull little kits put together here. I had my monitor repaired in about 30 minutes. Very easy to install. Can't belive nobody has put kits like this together before. I'll never toss a flatscreen again!

Exactly what was needed
The symptoms are that the monitor will not turn on, or it turns itself off, and the side controls don't seem to work.This kit requires some skill at disassembling the monitor carefully, unsoldering the old capacitors from the power supply board and soldering the new caps on. You have to have some familiarity with, or ability to learn about, capacitor value markings and polarity. Or else, have or acquire a friend who can do these things. Of course, you could buy all these parts yourself from an online electronics parts outlet, but it is worth a few extra dollars to have somebody else gather all the right values together into a kit. Be careful to get all the connecting wires reconnected properly when reassembling. The image shows one set of pink wires I knocked loose, so I had to take it apart again to find this mistake. This repair gave new life to a non-functioning L2210NW monitor, and I expect it to be in service for years to come. (Note: this review was saved as a draft four years ago and not submitted. The monitor is still going strong in May 2019!)
