The knife arrived with a light coating of some sort of oil to protect it, and right out of the box it was sharp enough to shave my arm hairs. The locking mechanism is very secure, and there is no play in the blade in any direction when it is locked open. It is held together with T5 torx screws. The fit and finish is excellent, with smooth surfaces and properly deburred edges.When folded, it is 86 mm x 36 mm in length and width (3.39" x 1.42"). The thickness for the most part is 5 mm, except the screwheads protrude slightly to a thickness of about 6 mm, the overall thickness is 9 mm where the (removable) clip protrudes the most, and it is 7.5 mm at the blade lock release knob. The cutting edge is about 64.5 mm long. The factory grind on the one I received has a perfectly straight cutting edge for about the first 47 mm from the heel, after which it curves ever so slightly to the tip. On my scale it weighs 55.3 g (1.95 oz) with the clip on.With just a few minutes of practice, I am able to open and close it one-handed with both my left and right hands.Overall, I'm very happy with it so far.

Great little knife. Sharp out of the box and seems well built and durable. Only issue may be scratching the finish when trying to move the pocket clip.

I have many Sog knifes I love. This ones dangerous, no lock and it didn't fully close, by desig. It opened in my pocket and I cut my finger wide open the first day! I returned it, don't buy one.

Excellent knife, I opted to pop the clip off and store the knife in my wallet instead of pocket, takes up maybe 4 credit cards of width. In my state (OH) it isn't legal to carry a knife longer than 2.5" if it is "...easily accessible, or can be deployed with one hand", this is neither, which means I can realistically carry a utility knife on me at all times, while still in the means of the law.Lock is solid, I've been using it for months now and it remains a tight lock. VG 10 steel is great at keeping hardness, I've not had any trouble hand sharpening it on a whetstone.

Super sharp and sharp looking. Nice matte finish. Extraordinarily compact and sturdy. Just the right tension to be flicked out with some force and practice and the clip is in just the right spot for some grip when flicking. Cheapest way to get a good VG10 blade. I have the C-Ti version as well and I'm absolutely in love with it.Not sure how this would ever open in someone's pocket, perhaps that reviewer received a fake? No way gravity would ever open this thing. Not on this planet, anyway.

Knife itself is of good quality but clip not really wide enough to effectively secure more than 1 CC and 2 $100 bills.

I think it may be a bit pricey, but this is still my favorite EDC. I use it at work and just carry it when I am out and about. The blade holds an edge very well, and it is easy to deploy with one hand. I also like the way it fits into the watch pocket of my jeans.

I bought this knife to use as a money clip so I would always have a knife on me. I keep it in my pocket with several credit cards and cash and it works great . I just put everything under the clip on the knife. I have nothing put positive things to say about SOG knives.
