Great quality and affordable brake pads and rotors
Brakes fit and work fine on my Tahoe. Very simple install and replacement of old brakes. Little noisy while braking but assuming that’s the drilled and slotted rotors. Dont recommend the shipping facility that I had but that isn’t the sellers fault

Large stopping power increase
I don’t leave reviews much, but these deserved one. Grabbed the slotted rotors and pads from Detroit Axle and I’m honestly impressed. Install was straightforward, everything lined up perfectly, no weird fitment issues. I’m pretty picky with my cars and I could tell right away the quality was there. Performance-wise, big difference from my old setup. Stronger bite, smoother stops, and the car just feels safer overall. No vibrations, no noise, no nonsense. Pedal feels solid and confident. For the price, you really can’t complain. You’re getting good performance without paying crazy name-brand prices. And the packaging? AWESOME. Everything was protected like they actually care about what shows up at your door. No damage, no dinged edges, nothing. If you want solid brakes that look good and actually perform, these are it.

Good value and quality, but no instructions
I ordered this brake kit to fix a low-speed brake squeal that resulted from a prior brake pad replacement without replacing the rotors. The cost of this kit includes both front and rear brake pads and rotors and they also throw in a container of DOT3 brake fluid, a can of brake parts cleaner spray, and a couple of packets of anti-seize grease for places that the brake pad ears slide in the retaining clips. These are heavy duty disc brake rotors and pads cost me a fraction of what my local auto parts store listed them for. Installation was fairly easy, despite NO INSTRUCTIONS included with the kit. I watched a couple of installation videos on YouTube and gained enough confidence to do the job. A couple of things that I had not expected: the boxes containing the rotors and pads are not marked to tell you which axle they go on. With my Ford Expedition, there's a set of rear drum brakes for the emergency brake and the correct rotor needs to be able to fit over the drums. You can either slide the rotor over the lugs on the rear axle after removing the old rotor to see if it fits, or just pick up the rotors: the front rotors are much heavier than the rear rotors and this makes sense since the rear rotors have the extra metal removed so they fit over the emergency drum brakes. The other unexpected problem I encountered was the old rotors were seized or rusted onto the rotating hub that contains the lug bolts. I had to beat the inner surface of the old rotor with a 4# sledge hammer to break it loose and remove the old rotor and it took a lot more force and hits with the hammer than I would have thought, but that's not an issue with the Detroit Axle kit. The kit comes with two identical slips of paper with printed instructions for bedding the brakes after installation. I followed the instructions the best I could -- the neighbors looked at me oddly when I accelerated down the street, only to ALMOST stop, then repeat a few more times. After bedding the brakes, the squeal is gone and the brakes work great. I would recommend this kit to anyone that has a bit of mechanical ability or a DIY attitude as well as the required tools, including various sockets, hex wrenches, floor / hydraulic jack and jack stand.

Needed Replacement, Fit Well and Improved Braking Performance
Needed replacement. Fitment was correct and everything lined up well during installation and the included hardware helped make the process smoother. Braking is now smoother, quieter, and more responsive than before with noticeably better stopping power compared to the old worn brakes and rotors. Stopping feels more consistent during regular driving. One of my calipers was already broken, but that was unrelated to the brake kit itself. So far they seem durable and I haven’t noticed excessive brake dust after normal use. Overall solid replacement parts and a clear improvement in braking performance. Make sure to double check compatibility with your vehicle before ordering.

Exceptional value for street performance brakes, but don't expect them to be quiet like OE
I got these brakes for my 2015 Accord Touring V6, the size that fits this car is 11.54 inch Front & 11.10 inch Rear. I installed these in December and now it's March. The first thing I noticed after installing them was the brakes being super grabby and sensitive. The old brake pads were worn down so much while the brake fluid level was still topped off, so when installing these, the extra amount of brake pad actually raised the brake fluid level in the reservoir to the point of overflowing, so I had to scoop a bit of brake fluid out with an oil bottle cap to get the fluid back to a normal level. For about the first 100 miles, the brakes had a kinda "thud" or "tap" sound when stopping at low speeds and was very sensitive. After being broken in, I noticed there's still some noise, but it's mainly squeaking or squealing. Sometimes it does makes noise at high speeds, but I found it can be mitigated with less foot pressure on the pedal. The most annoying noise is when you're driving at low speeds say in a parking lot or drive thru and riding the brakes. It's a dragging screeching noise that can sound pretty abnormal, almost like nails on a chalkboard. However I was told this is normal with drilled and slotted rotors using ceramic pads. But the performance of them is outstanding. I do a lot of "heavy duty" driving with my car, delivering doordash and occasionally taking it out on some curvy hilly backroads to rip on it. These brakes definitely hold up, they have good stopping power that is in some cases is almost "a little bit too much" stopping power (if your brake foot gets heavy) and being drilled and slotted increases the cooling on the brakes for my extreme driving conditions. If you're on a budget but looking to replace your original brakes on a performance oriented street car, this product will be an excellent choice for you.
