I bought this microphone replacement for my Corsair HS50 headset. My original one was damaged in my backpack (carelessly stuffed inside, etc.)The microphone came in good packaging with a foam cover on it and two extras. It fits well, if not more snug than the original piece, into the jack. The sound quality is good for a gaming headset, tested on https://online-voice-recorder.com/, in multiplayer PC games, and in voice channels (Discord). The microphone itself picks up audio well and does cancel faint noises in the background. No complaints for its type.

Worth it.
I dislike how much bigger it from the original Corsair boom arm I had.I truly like how well made it is for the price, and how it comes with a few extra pop filters.Absolutely worth the price, will update if anything happens.

The mic works wonderful as expected and came with a foam covering for the mic. It is not exactly the same as the mic that came with my corasir headset to begin with but that is not too mich of an issue. Im not sure if this was the headset or the mic but in certain positions there is a buzzing sound but its not that bad.

Okay for a temporary solution
Initially this mic worked great when i got it, but after having it for a couple months, it picks up a LOT of vibrations and background air noise which just sounds like there’s always someone blowing into the mic loudly. I have been told that the quality is very bad now and it is unbearable. If you need a temporary solution it’s good, but probably won’t have long lasting good sound quality. Not to mention, the mic is also a lot bigger and bulkier than Corsair’s
