Feels like heaven
Works like a gem, heats up really fast and leaves you feeling all nice and toasty in bed. It's the best feeling!

fab it heats up my bed so no need to have heating on in the bed room. fits great on the bed as before I have an over blanket that would move off the bed. This delivers the warmth up into the person. And stays in place..

Russell Hobbs electric underblanket
No more cold feet when I get into bed - and worth every penny just for that.Attaching the underblanket is easy enough but if you have a thick, heavy mattress you might need a bit of assistance since the ties have to go underneath. A few minutes though and it was in place, ready for the bed to be re-made.The electric socket on the top edge of the blanket could get in the way of sleep if you don't move the blanket more to the one side (it won't affect the heat distribution), alternatively, you could lay it upside down (according to the instructions) so that the plastic socket is at the foot of the bed and then use a short extension cable if needed (again, according to the instructions).I wanted a bed warm when I got into it on cold nights and so I have not tried leaving the blanket switched on all night (lowest setting number 1 only for this). I have found a setting of 3 and leaving the blanket switched on for 2 hours before I go to bed is more than enough to have a comfortably hot bed to get into.If you need this blanket switched on all night, start with setting 3 and turn it down to setting 1 once you are ready to get into bed, all simple enough and the control panel is plenty large enough to find and use.Washable, doesn't feel at all strange or uncomfortable whilst in bed, all in all a good buy.This is a good, "name brand" at a very acceptable price and I would certainly recommend it.

An excellent product.
Bought this for my elderly mother who struggled with the last Slumberdown Sleepy Nights Electric Blanket due to the switch becoming very stiff after a few months. This Russel Hobbs blanket seems better quality and is more powerful at 60Watts for the single version. She's delighted - as are her cats.
