Will help with humidity and odors
This is the second unit I have purchased, We have some mobile units, and some have a musky odor, these units have dried the crawl space and removed all odors (took some time, but it did it)

Quality Product
I needed a fan for a small crawl space underneath a building that had a hidden leak for several months. To install a dehumidifier I would have had to crawl through mud for about 60 feet. This product fit perfectly into a standard building vent opening and came with foam seals to prevent air leaking from around the device. It contains a built in switch that will automatically turn the fans off once a desired level of humidity is reached. It is made of sturdy stainless steel, has two robust fans, and has been running continuously now for several days while the crawl space dries out. A great solution for a muddy, nearly inaccessible problem.

good quality, noisy
I place it in place of a vent, between studs, was able to widen the opening beacause it was out of plywood.the purpose was venting radon and moisture out of basement. Little mwork horse was slow but successful in addition to a dehumidifier.Basement/crawlspace was about 20feet by 60 and height average 4 feet.Radon level went down 0.10 per day and is now well below accepted level.good quality item i would recommend.Only con was the noise but i didn,t use rubber washers between screw heads and fan housing.

Pulls out a lot of air, a bit loud
We got it for radon remediation. Overall it works well and pulls out a lot more air than I thought. It is a bit loud, but if your heater furnace or A/C kicks on, those are much louder. It’s a constant hum “white noise.” I had to run electricity to the crawl space so I put an outdoor lamp timer and a GFCI circuit for it in the garage. That way I won’t have to go into my 12” high crawl space to control it (I hate going in my crawl space!!), and it’s on a timer so it’s only on from 9am to 9pm so it won’t disturb our sleep. I tried to mount it from the outside, but the guts plus ac cord didn’t fit in my opening. It’s more protected from the elements and probably cuts down on noise inside the crawl space, so it’s probably better to install it in your crawl space.

Wasn't what we really wanted.
No problem in returning this item. We found a much better one than this item.

Only worked for a week. Began working again.
Easy to instabought 2 of these in January. One stopped working about a week later. I figured it was the freeze protection circuitry. Now it’s in the 50’s and it just doesn’t work. Very disappointed for the price. Haven’t been able to reach the vendor. To my surprise after a third day of 50 degree weather the fan began to work. I’m thinking that the freeze protection circuitry is just not accurate as far as the real temperature
