Apeks by Aqua Lung Tech Shorts with Pocket

My husband loves these Tech Shorts. We typically buy ScubaPro brand items, but chose this pair for the additional features not found in the ScubaPro dive shorts.Things he really likes:Heavy duty materialPockets are easy to grasp and open because they have a hard edge.D-rings attached inside the pockets provide a safe way to tether items for additional security of dive gear.Nice size pockets that expand if needed.Seat of shorts has a heavy duty padding for sitting without worrying about snagging on tough surfaces.

Great quality... just can't justify the price... still glad I bought them though! If you plan on serious diving for life, then these are good cargo shorts.

I love these shorts but they were very expensive like all things Apeks (a pretty expensive kit sucka). I can put lots of gear in my pockets and not worry about annoying dangling things from the BCD. I would prefer if the pocket Velcro was a little bigger to cinch it down when partially loaded but not bad.I’d like to buy one for the wife who’s 5’3” and 105lbs but they only have men’s sizes.

The best scuba shorts I've found!The waist adjustment is a combination of elastic and velcro, combined with the nylon belt to ensure everything is secure. I use the pockets for dive slates (instructor briefings) and my SMB, and the shorts do not slip off my waist with the extra weight.

I ordered the shorts based upon the pair I already had and the pictures that match exactly. Once I ordered them and received the shorts I saw immediately that the pockets were not the same. The pictures show obvious velcro retention to allow pocket to expand or to be more compact. It shows silver type of reflective tabs to pull the velcro open and closed but the pair I got don't have that at all. They are ballooned out all times which makes things more bulky and less streamlined. Inside the pockets of the ones I thought i was getting was to be D rings x2 in each side to clip bolt snaps and gear but the set i got have cheap cord only.

I enjoy it very much. They help for night dives when I just need a little extra mm. It also is great to have some pockets for the dives with my setup.

Love the pockets and the for. They kept my upper thigh warm even after multiple dives. Material is great and plenty of d-rings for hooking on something if needed

The fit is great and I like the utility and size of the pockets
