WOW!!!!!!
Great bag!!!! Big and thick. Comfortable to wear on your back or carry. It may be a bit to big for a carry on. Other Han that it’s and amazing bag that look great. Thick zipper, looks amazing. I don’t have anything bad to say about it.

Great Bag for Any Adventure- But Needs Smaller Pockets
Very durable bag. Large main storage with one moderate storage on the side. Your go-to bag for any adventure, big or small. My only complaint is there are no smaller pouches to separate small, portable items from getting lost into the large storage pockets. Guess I will always have to take a small page/fanny pack for items like wallet/passport/keys/batteries.

Not as bad as some make this out to be.. try for yourself and you be the judge.
Great bag! There have been complaints of the side handle straps being removed in the 2015 model, however after loading up both versions with my gear and taking them through the same course, the new design is sleeker and it since you are holding the bag sideways it makes the profile of the bag slimmer.. I went back and forth for a while but overall I really like this design better than the old. And using the zippers felt easier on the new model as opposed to the old. I'm happy! Just try to go somewhere when you can load up the bag to the weight you anticipate using and see for yourself which you like better. Also the company I purchased through (here) did an excellent job and it arrived early!

Great Quality, Waterproof, Large Bag
This bag is large, which is great, just know that it is a large bag. Love the waterproof/resistant features. Wish it had a carry strap but the backpack straps are definitely adequate.

Great
Good bag. Straps aren’t as comfortable as I’d like. Great fro camping and moving a ton of stuff in a single bag.

Nice tough big duffle bag
Nice bag. Very durable, quality material and well built. I got the large. Can fit a ton of stuff. The new side handles can be used to carry the duffel on your side with one hand. The backpack straps make it easy to tote on your back. Pretty comfortable for short distances. Zippers are chunky and strong. Another feature that came with the updated design is an extra zippered compartment on the end, similar to traditional duffel bag design. That can be used to put toiletries or socks in, small items for easy access, etc. the build quality and materials make it seem like I could fill this with dirt and sticks, throw this off a granite cliff and it would be fine. It has the North Face logo emblazoned on each end of the duffel in silver, and the rest of the bag is all black. Super stealth and stylish. I can use th backpack straps as a handle to carry it but the small handles on the side seem to work fine for that. There are also daisy chain loops that I could use to strap it on the roof rack of my jeep with some climbing rope and carabiners if I wanted to. Anyways I like this duffel and it seems like it will last for years in any condition or degree of use. This bag is impressive and very thick, rugged material was used in crafting it. The zippers are chunky with good pulls and have not snagged or stopped as of yet. I have packed it to maximum capacity, it's very roomy (the Large). I have used it for photo/video/audio/drone gear when filming out in the field. Packed it full with clothes. And just random stuff when I take drives out of town or to and from here and there. I've thrown it down snow banks, over snow mounds, into deep snow in general. It's been tossed in and out of my jeep many times. The compartment on the end is good for small stuff, trinkets, knives, earbuds, gum, toothpaste, toiletries, polaroids, tools, batteries, keys, etc. There is a mesh pocket within that keeps more valuable or small things in a mesh net pocket for easier separation and location of items. There's a mesh zipper lining under the main flap, to also keep things like small things, snacks, keys. I also keep a pair of my girlfriend's panties in it for when i'm away on trips and start to miss her. The bottom is double lined, reinforced with a thick ballistic canvas. I am tempted to put a bunch of sticks and dirt in the bag and drag it by a rope out the back of my jeep just to prove its rugged durability, but i'll refrain from doing that. The TNF black looks good, classic. Those other extravagant color schemes and designs aren't really something i'd use, although i've considered getting a second one in a different color to tell them apart, such as the black with spruce green trim, or the grey or something. Also considered getting one size up (the XL) since I tend to carry a lot of stuff on adventures, weekend trips, and driving back and forth from my apartment in the mountains, to visiting friends and family in the city on the weekends, etc. I think two would be good for my traveling. One with my camera/video/audio/drone gear in it, and the other with clothes, and usual personal items and whatnot. Anyway this bag is definitely worth buying
