Tranditional Chinese characters!! Love
Nice bilingual boardbook in tranditional Chinese characters which is great! It's so hard to find toddler books in tranditional characters without the pinyin (phonics). Almost all kids book I find are in simplified character and has the pinyin which takes away the beauty of the page making it too busy. Tips: if you're looking for tranditional characters like me- look for Taiwan publishers. Almost all Chinese books from China are in simplified character and have pinyin. The story itself is simple and cute. The style and color are classic. I'm happy with this purchase.

Simplified characters
Good book, and it will work for me. Some of the words are not particularly useful Chinese words for a learning speaker and reader (i.e. honeysuckle and peony). I got it as a book to teach my kids some color words and maybe a few object names. It is fine for the color words. There are just more useful object names to learn in my opinion than some of the ones used in the book.

Great series of bilingual books
I really enjoy reading this series of books to my daughter. I like the art work and simple themes of each story, like colors or numbers. It might be harder to read the Chinese if you don't know any, only because characters and pronunciation can be difficult to learn on your own. I learned Chinese as my second language though so having the pronunciation of all the characters in the back is helpful for me as a reference. I wish I could find more series like this!

Decent book in traditional characters without pinyin
This is not a bad book for young readers trying to learn Chinese, given the poor selection of bilingual books available online. The content is not particularly exciting but the illustrations are clear and it does what it set out to do (teach colors). Please note the characters are traditional and there is pinyin in the back of the book but not on the pages themselves. This makes it more suitable for older children with a lot of Chinese under their belt and/or native Chinese speakers learning English.

Nice story, poor illustration to keep toddler interested
Wish the illustration was a little bit more varied. Each page looks pretty much the same, which is not interesting for a toddler (1.5 years old). But the story is nice and has nice vocabulary.

I wish the colors were more vibrant so that it is clear what blue looks like. The last page has the phonetics to match the Chinese characters, which really helped with the reading.

Great book for little kids.
This is my grandson's favorite book. He always grabs it and give it to me and then climbs up on my lap. We read the book and count the bunnies! He is 21 months old.

so good for kids
It's ok. It's very simple, so good for kids. But somewhat disjointed in terms of "story" - at least in English. I like that it is in Traditional Chinese.
