Oster Electric Kettle, Metropolitan Collection with Rose Gold Accents

Brilliant kettle, it's simple!! My last two weren't that pretty to look at but had all the bells and whistles when all I ever used was a straight hot boil. It has a nice big handle big plus, easy to hold and pour. So many today have buttons you need to push to open the spout, a racket, and pours out so slowly. A great big spout fills up my teapot so fast, no stress on my wrist. Doesn't leak from the spout, getting that white hard water stain over time. The lid is just straight push down pressure, it won't break like my last two. I picked a winner!!! My only worry if you have small children the outside carafe does get hot. It looks so lovely in my grey and white kitchen I went ahead and purchased the matching toaster. Great price!!!

Can I just say beautiful? I bought this and the matching toaster. They are both so cute. The kettle is simple to use and works quickly, add water, plug in and press power boom piping hot water in no time. Perfect for tea, instant oatmeal or whatever your hot water needs. I also like that the power A little more expensive than other kettles but worth the price and Oster is a brand that can be trusted. I wish they offered other kitchen appliances to match so I could coordinate.

Well designed! soft tasteful colors; has copper trim on top and rim around bottom area. It's unusually pretty especially for a " functional " thing.Hot water fast and holds temp well for a 2nd round. I hope they continue this design, I would find this a great gift.I am not good at downloading but there was a good photo on the product listing.

I’ve had this one for close to a year and I love it. Good size and it’s very pretty, nice design and looks very high-end.. I also have the toaster and wish Oster made a blender or other appliances with the same look as well.

I can't believe it's bigger than I imagined but works perfectly fine. I'm glad I bought it.

Absolutely beautiful, high quality kettle. I adored it the second I unpacked it, got a bit worried, and now love it again.I took off one star because for the first 2 weeks, I could smell a strong plastic smell whenever I heated water. I'm super sensitive to chemical smells, so this really bugged me, but I have no idea how to avoid that in any kettle, unless they make it 100% metal (which I looked for, but couldn't find, or couldn't find in a model that looked halfway decent). I was worried it wouldn't go away, but decided to give it a month and soldiered through it.The smell stopped after a bout 2 weeks, and the kettle just looks amazing. The light inside has an almost etheric glow to it, and I'm certain I'm going to enjoy it for a long time.

I bought this electric tea kettle about 3 years ago. I use it daily and it's still working great. I switched to this from a non-electric tea kettle, and I love it. My only gripe is that it doesn't make any noise when the water is finished boiling, but since the water stays warm for a fairly long time, it's not that big of a deal.
