Heavy duty for my e-bike
I have two of these on my E-Bike for when I lock up in public. It's beefy enough looking that no one has tried to cut it yet and I live in a pretty bad area. Great chain, ok lock and decent protective cover. Definitely recommend!

Heavy, thick (yeah, I know, that's what she said)
This thing is hefty. Maybe thieves in your area not only carry power tools but don't mind sitting there for 10-20 mins sawing away, but if not, this might be for you. I bought it and forgot I did until it arrived and this thing is massive. Links are at least twice as thick as a normal chain and it's just heavy. So heavy my first thought was that it would impact range and speed. It's just a big, thick ass chain wrapped in fabric and connected by a u lock, but honestly, do you need more than that?

Awesome thick lock!
I have two expensive electric bikes and I purchased two of these to protect them. The bikes have alarms and with these locks, I feel very secure. Any movement on the bikes will trigger the alarm and then they will have to get through these locks. I have a secondary lock to make sure I slow them up and hopefully deter them. No lock is secure but this one is good and looks intimidating.

Heavy to carry around
Very heavy chain not sure on the Locking System if it would hold up to a hammer very heavy to carry around for electric bikes

May discourage a quick grab, but won't deter a pro.
The chain links on this thing are NOT hardened, though the lock's shackle seems to be. I tested mine on a couple of links, using a center punch and a file. "Cuts like butter." Watch the video in the reviews that some guy did on how quickly it can be cut through with a battery powered band saw. Heck, a simple hacksaw would likely be pretty quick as well. Check YouTube for the best options in your price range. If you can afford the 1/2" Kryptonite chain and lock, do that. But don't skimp by buying this one if you value your bike!
