Wonderful Learning Book.
Parents, if you're in the throws of teaching manners, this book is for you. Most children's books are lacking where consistency is concerned, but this book makes repetition and responding fun. I hardly have to challenge my son to reply, because it goes with the story, is declarative, and he enjoys being part of the process. We purchased the paperback copy with easily ripped pages, so if durability is a concern, this is probably a book best saved for parental supervision.

Love it!
One of MY personal favourites and one of my little one's favourites. I do not mind reading this one over and over..."What do you say when your friends come over to play?" "You say, 'hello' ""What do you do when someone says something nice?" "You say, 'thank you' "It is nice. He is now 2yrs 2mths and finally saying thanks! This book is simple and nice - teaches and reinforces.

Good book, but...
The lessons in this book along with the colorful illustrations are easy for my 2 yr old to understand. One of the lessons was to say "Pardon me" when a "naughty" noise was made. However I think its ridiculous and just plain wrong how a natural bodily function should be taught as "naughty". I will not teach my child that anything our bodies do naturally is something to be ashamed of. I will teach him to say "excuse me". Other than this book using the wrong adjective for passing gas, it should assist in teaching him some manners.

I LOVE IT
My baby is 22 months old and I'm teaching her about manners and this book is a great start! It covers the more important and basics ones, like thank you, please, I'm sorry, play fare, clean up, excuse me and some greeting too! It is perfect up to 5 years old I think.

hmm
The writing seems lacking..something but, I can't put my finger on it. My daughter doesn't ask for me to read it often. It's cute kinda boring though .

This book was an excellent find for the curious mind!
The little one fell in love with the entertaining, learning technique! The pictures are clear and words are easily readable. A clever way to keep your little one occupied while stimulating their brain. A smart buy!
