Fenix TK22 UE 1600 Lumen high Powered Long Throw LED Flashlight (Ultimate Edition), Rechargeable Battery with EdisonBright Brand Battery Carry case

This is my first FENIX light & This may be my absolute favorite EDC tactical flashlight of all time. Don't let their honest 1600 lumens rating fool you! This baby is a powerhouse & actually keeps quite cool considering the output over continuous use. Which is a GOOD thing. If you want to start fires with your flashlight, buy a halogen bulb not a LED! High temperature on LEDs only leads to damaged components & shorter life, it's not a good thing, so the fact this one is so powerful & starts so cool, is quite nice.For a proper comparison, I put this light up against my sightly more expensive KLARUS XT21X tactical light which has the same battery (21700) & same CREE LED 70.2. However the rating on the KLARUS is 4000 lumens compared to this ones 1600. This light actually had more "Throw" & brighter Beam distance by a noticeable factor! The "spill" was less, & that's why they can claim 4000 lunens because any light anywhere is light, & therefore lunens. Now, I say that because people look for different things in their flashlight, & different people look at the so called Brightness of a light differently. If you like long beam lights that will throw a beam a good distance with JUST enough spill to light up your walking & surroundings, This light is one of the best I've ever seen. And to me personally, that's important in a TACTICAL light. Different lights for different purposes obviously but for an easy to use, water proof, shock proof, all around great EDC, You'll be hard pressed to find a better one than this for any amount of money. If I had to pick only one light to take out of my collection, I would have to take this one & here's why......Battery versatility - Can use both 21700 & 18650 cells & comes with the necessary adapter cap to do so, as well as a type C chargeable battery from Fenix. So you can use their custom battery (which is great) but you don't HAVE TO! That's important to me. I like options. Unlike competitors such as Olight that try to lock you into a proprietary charger & battery, this one can be used with any 18650 or 21700 I have, & my type C phone charger! 5 stars on versatility & options!The construction, seals, & clip are great. Hardened glass & reflector, & Even comes with a spare button, & rings because they expect you to USE this baby. Lanyard is nice & strong as well, & has adjustable slide button. 5 stars there as well.5 year warranty - enough said there..... 5/5The only, & I do mean ONLY place you could possibly find fault here is the carrying case. It's ok, it does it's job, but it's not impressive, the KLARUS & OLIGHT cases are nicer. But it does have a strong nylon case, the biggest issues is the top fold is too narrow in my opinion, which doesn't give the head of the light enough protection & hold if your getting really rough or knocking it around on rocks etc. But for basic backpacking or camping, you'll probably never notice. So that's a minor thing to complain about for most people. I actually keep mine in a military carrying case with spare batteries & stuff so makes no difference to me personally. So 3.5/5 on the case.Functionality - it's simple, straight forward, with tail switch & side button, nothing fancy or confusing, just 4x levels & SOS & STROBE. What else could you need? It has memory mode so again 5/5.In summary, this is a beast of a light, & FENIX has earned my respect with not only a quality product but their modest 1600 (honest) rating! 1600 lumens is BRIGHT folks when focused into a 400+ yard beam like this. All these knockoffs claiming 8000 lumens, then delivering 1000, I think has people's perspective warped on lights. I can't think of ANYTHING I couldn't do with this light honestly. I'm very impressed & since this is my first FENIX light, I'm extremely anxious to see more of their products. I'll have to save up my pennies :). Very satisfied with this light. You actually get what you pay for here.

Other reviewers have well covered the benefits and highlights of this flashlight. So I'll just start right in with the downsides to it.1. The 21700 battery that gives it the long life also makes the handle wider than the 18650-only models. The consequence of this is that certain accessories, such as the gun mount, do not fit. Fenix has not made any announcement regarding when an updated mounting kit will be released, if ever. Just to be clear, there is no gun mount accessory available for any Fenix flashlight that accepts a 21700 battery.2. It's not really that mugh brighter than a 1000 Lumens model. I'm not saying it isn't brighter, because it is. But it's almost a game to get the lights into the exact right conditions for that difference to really matter.3. On a related note to the brightness, I find it odd that flashlights in this price range do not include their brightness expressed in ANSI Lumens (instead of regular Lumens which aren't clearly defined).Other than these few caveats, it's a great flashlight.2.

Really like these Phoenix lights. The momentary switch is really useful and a brightness mode that is easily adjustable for anything you could need. 1600 lumens is like daylight. Great quality I have never had an issue with any of mine. Their batteries are too notch and perform very well also have not had any issues after 4 years of carrying mine with me everyday. They are tough, I don't beat mine up but drop it here and there and have had no issues.Haven't had a chance to get the tk22 out in a really large open area but initially looks great, I don't see any reason it won't throw 400 meters. The bezel on the UE with the steal tips could come in handy in an emergency, and is built to last.Small enough to carry every day, but not if you want to be discreet. It will take up up some room. Really easy to carry on a belt or as apart of a rig. The head is about the size of a D battery- a little shorter. Overall length is about as long as your phone.

The TK22 UE is another quality light made by Fenix. Comes with everything that you need to get started with. The multiple colored LEDs allow you the freedom of not having to keep up with and carry "traffic cones' and "colored filters". The 5000mAh 21700 battery (included) gives the light plenty of power and battery life to get you through an entire day of constant use. Highly recommended

Great flash light! The battery life is awesome, has a great run time, A little over 2 hours on the highest setting! Super bright, even on the dimmest mode it is still bright enough to navigate threw the dark. I really like how there is no need to buy a charger, the light comes with everything you need! Also this light has a great firm feeling on/off switch, feels high quality!
