Fantastic from head to toe - and especially nice to use as a shampoo bar! I was a bit nervous to buy this due to coconut oil making my hair hard when I've used coconut oil previously as a moisturiser but this soap, which contains coconut oil as an ingredient has made my 4c hair very soft.And feels so much more comfortable running the bar over my head than squirting shampoos out of a bottle.Having read about fragrances and chemicals in many products that can disrupt hormones and cause health issues, I'm very happy to have found a simple and natural product that cleanses my hair and skin without charging a bomb for it. It's not harsh like some other black soaps either.

I’m very prone to breakouts and this time instead of using the same products that never seem to work for me, I decided to buy this black soap after hearing so much good stuff about it.One week ago both sides of my face had very angry spots on them, it was sore and very red on both sides. After 3 days of using the black soap, the redness has gone down and the spots have just turned into very tiny blemishes. It didn’t dry my skin out at all. I make sure after I use the soap, I dry my face and then moisturise properly.To use the soap, I break off a little bit and rub it between my hands with water until it lathers up and then I gently massage it onto my face (avoiding the eye area). I’ll leave it on for about 50 seconds and then I wash it off with water. Honestly if you are someone who is struggling with spots/acne then this product is well worth a try! It worked for me within a few days. I’ve never had a product work this quickly!. Just make sure that you dry your face after use and moisturise properly. :)

It requires consistency but with time it clears up your pigmentation issues & dark spots. A little burn at first but with time it works perfectly.

firstly it looks ghastly......but that aside, works well, oily feel when water added rinses of easily but does leave sensitive skin like mine dry but not itchy,with no scent dry or wetoverall would recommend but bear in mind it will leave the skin with a need for moisturiser.It will need an air dry style soap dish or an up turned hand scrubber to stop it going soft.overall it worth a try

Great! For me and I normally have allergies. It got rid of my skin problems and some blemishes I had on my face and feet. But still do a patch test as each person is different. My sister doesn't have allergies but had a bit of a reaction so unfortunately it's not for everyone. I gave some friends and family as gifts as it is so presentable and great. Other friends complained I should have got for them too. This product deal is great and allowed me to afford to be able to give as gifts to others. I will definitely keep buying. It also helps with scalp problems but makes the hair hard and rubbery so use only if you have a deep conditioner to use after. I don't use on my private area or on my eye lids though as had a slight reaction. Used antihistamines. I generally have sensitive skin so please test for yourself. This is a great product though as it says.

The soap is okay it has a natural smell which aint bad, it does not stay solid once used it goes soft and mushy and also leaves brown stain in bath tub, I do like the soap as you can tell its all natural it does leave the skin feeling cleansed but you do have to moisturise after as it leaves the skin dry! Not sure if its working on my skin condition yet as its early days! But would purchase this again as I think the product is a good natural soap.

I am on my second order of this soap and I love it! It doesn’t crumble in your hands and leaves my skin felling super fresh and clean. My skin dries out a lot in the winter but this soap helps to keep it supple. It’s the best black soap I have ever had. On my 2nd order, I received 1 soap bar instead of 6 but this was swiftly remedied - the customer service I received was excellent. I received Shea butter samples, coconut and peach, with 2 soap orders. Although I had been using Shea butter for years, none comes close to Dr Shea butter. It glides effortlessly onto my skin and smells delicious! I will certainly be placing an order for these in future. Thank you.

Update: skin has cleared up completely after switching to different soap. Do not use this if you are the type that has a rigorous skincare routine, as it will ruin all of your hard work.I’ve been using this daily for a good few months now, to really give it a good shot. The bar will last ages, but I’m personally not a fan of the texture, as I prefer more sturdy bars of soap. This one basically melts and covers you in brown residue, it’s also quite sticky. The soap dish I keep it in has a thick brown layer covering the entirety of the surface. I noticed it brought up a lot of texture in my skin that wasn’t there before, and tiny bumps and blackheads in places I wouldn’t usually get them. As I’m not going anywhere anytime soon due to the pandemic, I intend to use up as much of it as I can tolerate before throwing it in the bin, as I don’t like waste. Packaging is great, very eco-friendly, but you get that with most soap bars. However, it does contain palm oil, which is notoriously bad for the environment.Update:Switched to another bar of soap. I previously would get a few spots each week and maybe a cystic spot, with this soap I got 10+, and cystic spots more often. The only thing I am changing is the soap (used once daily) in my skincare routine, will update when I’ve used the other soap for a while.
