Product and Install Review
Installed on Jeep wrangler 2009 2 door, Was experiencing some mid to high speed highway shake (not quite death wobble quality) after replacing my ball joints / steering gearbox, and axle rods as preventive measure I noticed the issue wasn't quite resolved however I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a replacement that I was not sure was quite needed after doing the latter. However I noticed a significant improvement in handling quality right off install. Tightened my steering up and completely removed my highway instability. Now I give 5 stars because I believe for the price that this is the most affordable Aftermarket Stabilizer for the OEM mounting system that has operating quality that isn't total garbage as far as ride quality. However the quality isn't as good as the fox and old man emu systems ive ran on my rock crawlers. But if your looking at this product you really don't need that quality on your daily driver if you don't abuse it.For those looking into being more of a DIY jeeper This is an easy install 10-15 mins max. Which can be achieved with basic hand tools (if you dont have a wrench set you could use some pliers just expect more patience and frustration but its possible)I personally Recommend not installing the shock boot as ive never removed one and had it not filled with dirt / mud inevitably leading to the seal failing causing premature shock death. but personal preference.

It fit
Was disappointed to find out it does not come with a boot. Also that the rubber grommets and sleeves were not installed in the unit so I had to lube those up and press them in with the bench vice. Not that those are a huge issues but other brands I have bought come with grommets installed and I didn’t have to waste valuable time putting them together. And as for the boot, just let me know in the description or picture that it doesn’t come with one so I can order one at the same time. Still 4 stars cause it fit and works.

Good fit, easy to install and resolved my steering concern.
Good fit for my 2007 Jeep Wrangler JK. The Daystar stabilizer barrel diameter is a little larger than the factory steering stabilizer. The larger diameter may cause the bushing end on the right side to not seat in the bracket properly. No problem, simply loosen the stabilizer mounting bracket (4 nuts) and rotate it down slightly until the bushing end slips into place in the fixed mounting bracket on the right side. Also, the nut on the right side mounting bolt has a little bracket welded to it. Do not attempt to remove the nut. Turn the bolt to loosen, leaving the nut in place. The tab will keep the nut from turning as you loosen the bolt. When you put it back together screw the bolt into the nut. Unless you have a hydraulic press handy, use a vice to press the provided rubber bushings into each end of the new steering stabilizer, then push the metal inserts in by hand. Total install time, including clean up, was about one hour.

Spend a little more to get a quality stabilizer.
Junk. When I was moving it back and forth by hand, it takes a second for it to start resisting after changing direction. That seemed like a bad thing intuitively but I didn’t learn until later that it would basically render it useless. Not knowing at the time weather it was supposed to be that or not, I installed it because the price was right and I was hoping it would be “good enough” for my light duty off-road use. Nope. After driving it on various roads and off roads at various speeds, it doesn’t seem to be very effective. Idk. I just ordered two Teraflex steering stabilizers from Quadratrc for $55 ea (on sale) along with the Rubicon Express dual stabilizer bracket kit. We’ll see if that feels better. I’m also going to install AEV’s front control arm geometry correction brackets since I have the 2” AEV lift installed on my Jeep JKU. Hopefully these things will better address the slight bump-steer at high speed and reduce steering wheel feedback from washboard roads at low speed.

Works great with 35inch tires and 2.5 inch lift
I smashed my old factory one while off-roading and drove with a bad one for a little but I started to get a bit of bump steer and slight death wobble that would quickly correct itself. Decided it was a good time to get a new stabilizer and this had good reviews along with knowing a couple people who had this already so I picked it up. I now have had zero bump steer issues other than the inherent fact that this is a large lifted vehicle and its going to happen regardless but its been lessened a lot. There is also no signs of the death wobble occurring so safe to say this has done its job.

Stopped the random steering wheel shimmying for me.
Like others have said, made in Mexico not US. The rubber bushings are US made and they play with words to get the made in the US thing on the box. If you are like I was about buying this because of all the misinformation out there on stabilizers, it works for me. My suspension, alignment and tire balance are all in check, but I was getting random shimmying with my 35s. My stock JK stabilizer was fairly easy to compress and pull on by hand, it had resistance but no where near the amount this one has. This took that annoying shimmy out of the steering wheel for me.

Perfect. HD Stabilizer
Product came overnight as Amazon promised. Installed in about 30 minutes totally by my 16 yr old daughter with me helping to break the bolts free and then tighten to the right torque. The steering is better than it has been since we purchased the cheap 52K miles ago. Only big issue is that Amazon states clearly that it was made in America but it is clearly marked made in Mexico.

Good steering stabilizer, add paint and boot.
Seems to be ok. It fit on the Jeep JK. Went on good. Used new Grade 8 bolt on frame side as Jeep bolt was metric and a little smaller.Good quality, only I had to paint the ends white to match the shock body. This one must have accelerated through the paint booth as paint was tin on the ends. The decal went on good. came with black boot. The black boot is too small length wise. Everytime you go left, it pops of the shock body. No Lift. The steering stabilizer is made in mexico. Amazon leaves that info out on the description.
