A great, seemingly efficient little controller.
I grabbed one of these to power the drive motors in an old electric wheelchair. The goal was to convert it to a modular utility platform. This little controller drives the wheelchair motors quite efficiently. When pairing it with a receiver, I did have to dial in a ton of expo to make the acceleration curve smooth, but that could be to some degree, because of the way the motors were wound. Since they were built for torque, they tend to start more aggressively. Overall, this controller excels in the application I'm using it for, and I'm happy with the outcome. I would highly recommend it if you need a decent, affordable brushed motor controller.

Perfect functionality and very reliable
I have several of these running my robots. 100% up time and simple to connect. I am using on repurposed power wheelchair chassis.

Great Quality
Very nice motor controller. I had one issue that I'm unable to solve. The documentation makes reference to newer boards having different firmware and those boards being labeled with a green sticker. The version change is at v1.10. I see v1.3 referenced on the board.. however I don't know if that's higher or lower. Does it really mean v1.30? The only reason I would assume that is because the v1.10 update was several years ago and the likelihood of these being old stock seems unlikely.

Great controller
I have had this in a remote control lawnmower for all over a year with zero problems. Highly recommend.

Plug in your remote control, and it JUST WORKS
Are you wanting to modify an electric wheelchair to get rid of the stock joystick controller and make it radio controlled instead? Then yes, this is what you are looking for. It just works. You can plug your radio receiver straight into this, and be driving in less than 10 mins. Then when you're ready to upgrade it to a real robot by using microcontrollers, you can simply plug in your microcontroller into the serial input of this thing and start doing all kinds of fun stuff. Just buy this already :)

Great R/C dual motor controller
I purchased this motor controller to replace a burnt Sabertooth controller that I was using for an R/C lawnmower build. The board is sturdy and seems well built. It stays much cooler than the Sabertooth but has less features. It's also about $40 less than a comparable Sabertooth. For my needs, this board is a great fit. Not much to mess with after installation, 2 channels (one for each motor if using for a similar project) can be used with tank style controls or mixed at the TX to get different configurations. It was very simple to do a basic R/C set up. Just connect to motors, power source, plug in RX, set DIPs and you're good. I'm certainly not an expert in this area, but in my opinion this is a very good mid / high amperage motor controller that is built to last.

Easy as plug and play.
This was so simple compared to using an arduino.... with a pwm motor driver with pots and rocker switches the route to pins-in and out. Literally ran my, rather large, 200lbs rc robot with my tx and rx connected. I did try and change the tx setting while it was live and it ran away.... but that was my rookie mistake. I would buy 3 more if they were a little cheaper. But WELL WORTH THE MONEY
