Philips Sonicare for Kids 3+ Bluetooth Connected Rechargeable Electric Power Toothbrush, Interactive for Better Brushing, Turquoise, HX6321/02

This system is absolutely fantastic. I say the word “system” because that’s exactly what this. I have 3 Princesses who have all been using this Sonic system for at least 2 years now. This system teaches your child how to love brushing so they never forget or have to be asked. It shows them how to brush correctly, and have fun doing so. They even get to pick their own colored toothpaste to brush along with the apps little character, Sparkly. Here’s what it offers: •Toothbrush: it’s a sonic & works fantastic. It’s a rechargeable lithium ion battery which does last for so long. Little pearl here: only charge it when it needs to be charged or you could have issue, like some people in here. Any lithium ion battery will act this way, so unplug it while it sits on its stand. Not quantum physics here. The head maybe slightly oversized, but that quickly becomes a non-issue. It also adapts to many Sonic heads if you’d prefer a smaller brushing head. I started all 3 girls with this as soon as their first tooth came in. •Stickers: you have a large selection to customize and re-customize over and over. It has larger stickers and many smaller options. What kid doesn’t love stickers. **App: get ready because this is where they separate themselves from the rest by a million miles. There’s nothing even close to this out there. Even Oral-B, who I’m a huge fan of, has nothing! •THE APP- You start out with entering in your name & age & picture(you can use anything on your phone or take a picture). They love this feature and change it frequently. •Then you get to hatch your baby Sparkly. Again, very cool idea. •Parents have a dashboard that they can choose to participate or not. I love it, as a Daddy. •They have their own dashboard of three options: My Calendar, My Awards, and Sparkly Achievements. •My Calendar- which shows you if they brushed & for how long. •My Awards- which gives achievement awards to your child based on how well they do, like 10 days in a row of day/night brushing. You leave them as is or custom name each, like “Mommy’s Award-10 days in a row” or whatever you want. Talk about brilliant. It’s literally a contest to see who can out-brush the other in my house. Since my girls are all under 5yrs old, I get to help them develop this wonderful habit. Again, I love participating as their Daddy. I use my phone and iPad to let them earn these awards; •AND lastly Sparkly Awards- not only is the little guy cute, but she/he gives an award after every brush(SO HUGE). She/he will learns tricks, earns food to feed him prior to brushing(carrots, pizza, bananas, water, milk, spaghetti and so much more), earns apparel to dress your Sparkly up(various sunglasses, hats,ears, and more), earns different background places(the ocean, bathroom, skating park, and more), and spray paint to color your Sparkly(Green, purple, pink, blue, and more). Again, they earn one of the above every time they brush their teeth! It provides an incentive to take care of their teeth. •The brushing part is 2 minutes, which is what’s recommended and teaches them how to brush all teeth while they watch & follow along with Sparkly brushing her/his teeth. I’d love them to update this app with more awards/features since my girls have earned just about everything. However, I’m more than satisfied because they could care less. It still keeps their attention while they laugh and joke around. It’s a great routine that shows them how to enjoy good hygiene. **Plus...you’ll be laughing and giggling right along with them** How great is that! We never have to ask them to brush. They always come running with their brushes begging to go first. We LOVE it and we’d recommend it to any/all parents.

I bought 2 of these out of desperation. I got so tired of nagging the kids every morning and every night to brush. I was also tired of inspecting their brushing and having to ask them to try again and/or having to take it over. Not only was this frustrating for me after what felt like the millionth time of showing them how to brush well, but it was also frustrating for them. They were trying hard and finding out that often it wasn't good enough. My son ended up with a few cavities and I decided we needed extra help. My husband was about 50/50 on these when I first showed him. He expressed feeling a bit reluctant to add yet another source of electronics into their lives, especially for learning/reinforcing a task which we learned just fine without the need for technology. But ultimately he agreed this product sounded promising so we made the (worthy) investment. Let me tell you, this has been a slam dunk for us. The kids look forward to brushing their teeth and their smiles are way cleaner and brighter. It has now been about 17 days and they've brushed twice a day, every day and they are still enthusiastic about it. We love it so much. The app is very engaging and motivating for my 7 and 9-year-old. The 'Sparkly' creature is adorable. The app is educational. The toothbrushes are high quality and work very well. I was concerned my 9-year-old would get sick from the vibration of the bristles (he has some sensory difficulties) but it was fine and he just laughed (and drooled like crazy) the first couple times. I was a little worried about how easily we'd be able to manage 2 profiles in the app but it's super easy. The bluetooth connection is instant when they turn on the brush. If they need to stop at anytime during the brushing, it automatically pauses when they turn it off then resumes when they turn it back on. They thought of everything. I am very happy and can't recommend this product strongly enough.

We've only had it for a week and a half but my son hasn't missed a brushing yet. He's 11 so I didn't know if the app would be to young for him, but he likes to track his brushing streak. There's even days where he has started brushing before I even reminded him. Too bad it doesn't track the areas he is brushing he had a cheap non-electric brush holder that even did that. But like I said it's got him brushing so it's a five star in my book.

I purchased this toothbrush for my 4-year old daughter, because we were having trouble keeping her teeth, well, clean. I don't know what happened, but suddenly her teeth started looking really stained all the time. Once we started using this toothbrush, we saw an improvement almost immediately. Her teeth looked shiny and clean. I didn't know if she was going to freak out about the vibration, but she was fine with it. And I love that Sonicare adds the little musical alerts when you are supposed to switch sides. She still laughs a bit when that alert sounds. The main reason I wanted to write a review for this toothbrush, though, is this. In the question and answer section on the product page here, someone mentioned that it's important for a parent to help kids brush with this toothbrush, since it is possible to cause serious gum damage with the brush if you aren't careful. I wish someone had told ME that before I started using my Sonicare brush a few years ago. After unintentionally pressing too hard while using this brush, I have serious gum recession--to the point that I've had several dentists tell me that I'll probably need to get a tissue transplant in one area. (Ugh, not looking forward to that...) The point is that, apparently, you are supposed to hold this brush with only three fingers while brushing--that's how little pressure you are supposed to put on your teeth/gums. If your kid is too young to know how much (or how little) pressure to put on her gums while brushing, you are probably going to want to help her. All in all, we really love this brush. It has made a huge difference in my daughter's smile. Plus, Amazon has the brush at such a great price, it is definitely worth a try.

I like this brush a lot and so does my 4 year old. It encourages him to brush and brush correctly. It is vibrant and fun and he loved picking out the decoration for the actual brush. I am good with tech but I can not tell if this thing is connected to the bluetooth. It does not say so and when I try and connect on my phone it says rejected. In the actual app it keeps trying to up sell me to the connected toothbrush (the exact one I am using) and has some features "closed" off to the connected brushes (which is what I am using), so I do not get it. It seems connected and it knows that my kid turns the brush on and off and stops brushing but it does not allow certain features to be open. I find this annoying. Value for money is good. It has 2 speeds which is good because my guy is only 4 so the fast one is too much for him. Size and weight are fine for him at age 4

When my granddaughter (age 6) received a less than stellar review from her dentist, I sprung into action! I love my Sonicare toothbrush and wondered if they made one for children. I found this toothbrush and read good reviews, but I didn't know what a game changer this toothbrush would be!! Now, my granddaughter has to be monitored to STOP brushing her teeth so much! Three times a day and no more (as advised by her dentist)! The character who rewards her for brushing her teeth is darling and the "germ" pop-ups on the screen make brushing a game. The four quadrants of the child's mouth appear on the screen in timed intervals. Every tooth is brushed and brushed well. My granddaughter LOVES brushing her teeth and it shows! A lifetime habit has been established and we couldn't be happier. Setting up the app was very easy. We used an older iPad that wasn't being used frequently. I am not a "techie" so I practiced at home first on my iPhone. I followed the instructions and it was extremely easy; there are even You Tube videos online that I watched because I was apprehensive, but a more confident person could have skipped these. I practiced using the app so I could introduce it to my granddaughter. I thought she might think the program was silly but i was wrong! This is a game with levels and rewards so the incentive is always present. Because of my purchasing this product, my daughter mentioned it to her friend who has a son with Asperger's. As you can guess, he doesn't like brushing his teeth. Well, his whole world (and hers!) has changed for the better. He LOVES brushing his teeth and loves the game. If you have a reluctant child for ANY reason, you simply must give this a try. Tooth brushing has become the new indoor sport at my daughter's house and they have to monitor it closely . . . . only three times a day or receding gums and lack of enamel may result. Who could have guessed???!!! You will love this product. Only complaint? Sonicare doesn't make a face-washing app. My granddaughter asked and i wished they did too!!! Haha.

If you told me an electric toothbrush would become part of our family, I wouldn’t have believed you, but here we are, and our son’s Philips Sonicare (a.k.a. “Fred”) is practically a household celebrity! The interactive app with the adorable little critter makes brushing fun instead of a chore. Our 8 year old can’t wait to check in with his buddy each morning and night. Brushing is no longer a battle. We also love how easy it is to use and recharge. It has a long-lasting battery for the win. The soft bristles are gentle on little teeth and gums, and it’s refreshingly quiet compared to other electric toothbrushes. The decorating stickers are such a cute touch too, letting kids personalize their toothbrush like a badge of honor. This is our second Sonicare for kids (we loved the first so much we upgraded). The brush is worth the investment and we have the replacement brush heads on auto ship. If you’re looking for a toothbrush that turns brushing time into fun time, this one’s a total win. Fred gets five sparkling stars from us!

This comes with toothbrush heads that are for age 7 and up. You can get smaller ones for age 3 and up. My 5 year old used the app for a few months and then stopped. My 3 year old just got one and she loves it. It definitely helps them to brush their teeth longer. Toothbrush shuts off after 2 minutes, so my 5 year old knows to brush until the toothbrush shuts off. They love the gift they get in the app each time they brush their teeth.

After trying this toothbrush with one of my children, I ended up buying a second one because they both loved it. The design is fun and colorful, which makes brushing much more exciting, and the Sonicare cleaning performance is excellent. The built-in timer also helps encourage them to brush for the recommended amount of time. The battery lasts a long time, and the overall build quality feels sturdy and well-made. It has definitely made our daily brushing routine much easier. One thing to note: I initially thought this version would connect to the Sonicare Kids app via Bluetooth like some of the other models, but this specific model doesn’t include that feature. It wasn’t a dealbreaker for us since the kids still enjoy using it, but it’s worth checking if app connectivity is something you’re looking for. Overall, it’s a fantastic toothbrush, and based on our experience, buying a second one was an easy decision.

I returned it on the spot cause of the broken head and it has been two weeks wothout any actions

I have bought this toothbrush to replace our son's previous one which lasted 3 years great product, would not go for any other brand :)

Before We struggled to get my daughter to regularly brush and to brush everywhere even. Now My daughter loved the stickers, she’s got app set up on her ipad, she brushes regularly without being asked. Each time she brushes there’s 20 second lesson that’s slightly different every time, and there’s a reward at the end. My daughter is 7 and she’s completely zoned in. We can’t believe well it works. Downsides Charger in box has a weird plug, but seller included an adapter for UK 3 pin plug and brush can fit on adult toothbrush charger which comes with USB. App doesn’t sync across devices so don’t set it up on your phone.
