Fits smaller offset smokers. Sturdy.
I have the Chargriller Smokin' Champ offset smoker/grill. I decided I wanted to add a charcoal basket and ordered a cheap one in what I thought was the smallest standard size - 12"x12" and about 6" tall. It was too large to even fit in my grill's firebox. So after searching, I found this basket, which is 10"x10" (true to advertised size) and it fits perfectly.After considering the price, I decided to go for it and I'm not sorry. It is heavy grade metal with solid weld points. This is built to last and take the heat. Came assembled out of the box - just unpack it and place it.It would also be well suited to kettle grills, fire pits, or any other use where keeping your coals together with good ventilation is important.

Great product
By far the best thing I’ve ever gotten for my offset smoker. The charcoal basket is a little smaller which fits perfect for my fire box. It made smoking MUCH easier. Longer cook time and better smoker. I could go on and on but let’s just say It’s makes a world of difference.

great for using charcoal in your smoker( as long as you don't intend to use it for extra long cooks) but for shorter cooks, it works fine. i just wish it was a little wider(13"x13"), and a little taller(8/10" or so) so you could stack split wood in them(which is what i use mostly). otherwise, it's good to go!

Exceeds expected quality
This is a huge upgrade in fire temp control. Thick welded steel, and fits perfectly in my cylindrical Chargriller firebox. Highly recommend it’s worth the cost.

Keeps constant heat and smoke!
I use this in my homemade smoker, constructed from steel pipe. This sturdy box makes it easy to allow airflow, thereby keeping constant heat! Drop some chips or pellets for great smoking!

Worked out perfect for my Char-Griller but I did get the 12x10x6 You're going to need it for a longer cook

It is what it is.
small. doesn't have the pointed edges that I see on some baskets (higher risk of cutting yourself. I've used it once so far. It's good enough for me.
