Metra 99-8244HG Single DIN Dash Kit for 2013- Toyota Avalon (Black)

This Dash kit works great in my 2013 Toyota Avalon Hybrid Limited with the JBL stereo. However, there are a few modifications that need to be done. I bought this kit knowing that it says that it doesn't fit the JBL version of the stereo. The only difference is that the airbag circuit board is bigger than the non JBL airbag circuit board, other than that, it fits perfectly. With the JBL circuit board you will need to either cut the volume knob off or de-solder it from the board. The cover that the dash kit provides to go over the airbag circuit board does not fit. I had to cut the cover to fit over the board and screwed it down. I then used black electrical tape to cover the remaining parts of the board just to prevent anything from shorting. However, it didn't look like that was necessary but I felt a little better with the tape on there. Anyway, after modifying the faceplate and installing my radio it looks fantastic.

So it isn't design to fit the Limited trim w/ JBL. But you can still use it if you don't mind moving the passenger airbag indicator behind the unit. The light is attached to the same board as the tuner nob, where as all the other sub models has it seporate. I just left it befind the head unit (the little amber light is the passenger side airbag light in the picture). Don't really like the random light there, but it's the price to pay lol
