Good ramp at a good price!
The ramp is made out of aluminum and will never rust and being adjustable in length up to 7ft is very versatile. Carrying handles make it easy to move from the van to the stairs. It holds my weight of 175lbs easily. The safety pins are a good feature and keeps it safe without slipping off the van. Their customer service is the best I’ve experienced on Amazon. Five stars!!! Would recommend and buy again.

A lifesaver for getting my wifes wheelchair loaded.
These Ruedamann ramps are a lifesaver. My wife had surgery and was confined to a wheelchair for a few months. Lifting that heavy wheelchair into the back of my truck was getting really old. I tried some folding steel ramps and they were overkill, too heavy, too slippery, etc. I bought these Ruedamann ramps and all was well again. They are light, but very strong, compact for what they are, have rails on the side, and traction grit on the surface, and have completely saved my back from lifting. They are really high quality, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. The one and only thing I wish were different about them would be to include or make available a storage bag for them.

Pleasantly surprised
Bought for temporary use assisting a wheelchair (manually operated) bound person up/down front porch steps. Must say I was pleasantly surprised how easy the ramps are to transport and set up. Even though they’re pretty lightweight they’re very sturdy and the traction on them is good. Definitely worth the $$. Make sure to check the clamps that lock them into place when extended. One of them was missing a screw on the clamp but I was able to easily repair by using a screw I had.

Very sturdy at 8’ long , 22” high on stone stairs
I did a TON of research to find the right ramp for my clients mother and I landed on these because she has a nice stone staircase , stone walkway and the rise and run of the stairs required the most stability . Most of the ramps on amazon where limited by the recommended height which was around 8-12” for the cheaper models and I almost went with the 2-way foldable ones that have a carrying case because they were lightweight and came with a carrying case but every reviewer said they needed to add a piece of wood in the middle where the folding joint was and that was not a good thing to have to make my client put a piece of wood under the middle every time she wanted to install the ramp . In the end after all the reviews I read , this model and 1 other one that only folded one way making it 7’ long and difficult to carry , were the only really strong transportable options . I went with this model cause it’s only 4’ long (collapsed) and very light weight (only about 10lbs per side) and because there’s no folding joint in the middle it’s very sturdy even when fully expanded to 8’ . In my pictures you can kind of see the small amount of flex when my 200lb body is standing in the middle of 1 ramp, it flexes maybe 1-2” but that’s just 1 ramp holding all my weight so that would equal to a 400lb load spread over both ramps . The 8’ span of this model is ideal for most things , in my case it’s a 22” rise and the stairs are 24” combined projection (run). These ramps come with nice skateboard type grip tape for traction and a small piece of tacky/grip rubber under each lip (top and bottom ) to protect the stone surface from the aluminum and keep the ramps from slipping , and it seems to be a good hold although I recommend checking the placement and spacing of the ramps before each use since they are movable . I don’t yet know how long they will last or how they will hold up to the rain since I just got them but they seem very well made and the cost is very reasonable .

Really awesome for getting wheelchair in and out of back of our Volkswagen Golf
We ordered these (first time using ramps like this) to put in the back of our Volkswagen Golf so I can push my travel power chair up and down the ramp into the trunk. They have worked GREAT so far. No complaints at all. We weren’t 100% sure if the length would be too long or too short from the ground to the trunk, but the length is perfect! The adjustability makes it really convenient too. Most normal parking lots of plenty of space for me to get my chair up and down the ramps. They are not too heavy for what they are (but very sturdy). I usually slide them in and out of the back so I don’t have to fully lift them. But they can be lifted and carried- they have handles on each ramp. Definitely slip resistant with good tread, and I am feeling mobile again with the option to bring my chair places by myself. Highly recommend.

Solid but narrow ramp
I got the 10' ramp to get into a van about 27" high. The ramp was sufficiently strong for my mom in her wheelchair (about 200lbs total). Likes: good price, carrying handles, reasonable weight, reasonably easy to collapse and expand (see below) Dislikes: 1) Going up the ramp, it gets narrower to the point that it is hard to get the front and back wheels in ramp channel. 2) The ramps are perforated aluminum with no grip. They were fine in dry conditions, but I would not want to use them in the rain. 3) There are three sections and two clips on each side of each ramp. The upper clip holds the upper section to the middle section, but there is nothing to keep the lower segment from collapsing into the middle section except friction. While the ramps didn't go anywhere when using them, it was awkward to move a fully extended ramp as the bottom section would slide in and out.

Works Great as a Porch Ramp for an Occupied Transport Wheel Chair
Very sturdy and sets up in about 5 minutes. The height from our porch to our sidewalk is about 10". Drilled a 1/4" hole in the porch's stoop for each of the ramps. I then place the ramp's hole over the 1/4" hole in the stoop and slip in the hitch pin. From there I grab the end of each ramp and pull it to its full length. After the ramps were first extended, I drew a small line on our concrete sidewalk with a black magic marker for lining them up correctly for when they were next used. I usually wear a pair of leather gloves when using them as the ramps have a few sharp edges, but nothing worth taking off points for. FYI -- The holes in the ramps make them a little bit lighter and they also provide drainage should they ever get wet.
