Aiboxin Elastic No Tie Flat Shoe Laces for Sneakers, Tieless Shoelaces for Kids & Adults, Stretch Shoes Strings

My instructions were messed up a little bit but I was able to figure out how to put these on and adjust them. They were pretty simple to put on and cut to the length I wanted. They look great on my shoes and feel great on my shoes. They stretch plenty and the magnets seem to be pretty strong. The metal piece also has a piece that helps it from breaking apart from one another. The only difficult part would probably be putting the screw in as it’s very small so I’d recommend an area where dropping something small won’t be hard to find again. I had bought some different types of laces a while back which had cost me twice as and I didn’t like nearly as much as these. Definitely buying a bunch more for all my shoes if I can

I broke both feet and have to wear hard bottom walking shoes for now. The laces are always a mess and come untied often, which is a problem since I am unsteady on my feet right now and do not need to fall down. My podiatrist recommended these and they work perfectly. They even make a not so attractive shoe look a bit more stylish. Once I got the laces exactly right, I followed the instructions to trim them and install the metal magnet pieces. I can put on and take off my shoes without a hassle now. And the elastic makes the shoes fit better. Great purchase, arrived quickly with the tiniest screwdriver I have ever seen to help install the metal magnet pieces.

I recently tried the Aiboxin Elastic No-Tie Flat Shoe Laces for my sneakers, and overall I’m impressed. These stretchy, tieless laces make putting on and taking off shoes so much easier, which is especially helpful for busy mornings or for kids who struggle with traditional laces. The magnetic feature is clever and keeps the laces secure without needing to tie or double-knot. The fit is snug and comfortable, and the elastic material adjusts well to foot movement without feeling too tight or restrictive. I love that they’re easy to install and can be trimmed to fit most shoe sizes. The white color looks clean and goes well with a variety of sneakers, though I’d recommend checking frequently for dirt since lighter colors can show wear. While they aren’t quite as secure as traditional laces for very intense sports or running, they’re perfect for casual wear, walking, or everyday activities. For convenience, ease of use, and a modern alternative to regular laces, these are a great option and works well.

When finally installed these laces are a great idea if you have trouble bending down to tie laces. But to ‘install’ the is an operation within itself. It’s a process of lacing up the elastic laces provided, putting on the shoe and marking the laces with a pencil (so you can erase them if needed) where you will soon cut. I later discovered that estimating how much lace you will need to put your foot into the shoe ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT WORK. You have to put the shoe on after lacing and before marking where you will cut! Then you remove the shoe and then cut and burn the end. While putting on or taking off the shoe watch where your mark goes. If it completely disappears in the eyes at the top; that’s where your clamp is going to be and that’s where you’ll be placing stress on your elastic laces. Using a 1 1/2 inch Phillips head screwdriver you will need to push the cut ends into a magnetic clamp. On the underside of each side of the clamp is a hole where you must screw in a tiny screw (about the size used for eyeglasses) into the clamp to hold the cut end of the elastic laces that you previously jammed into one side of the clamp. You must do this 4 times for each end of the lace. The lace stretches and the clamp is magnetic with a slightly raised part that clicks in place. When installed correctly they are neat and comfortable. They are not interchangeable, so buying several colors to exchange out with your outfits is not a great idea. Expect them to be permanent unless you cut them off or backtrack each step by unscrewing each screw and pulling the cut and burnt ends out of the clamp. If it sounds like an exercise in madness, it’s because it IS an exercise in madness. I purchased red, white and blue before I knew. The white laces are in a white pair of tennis shoes. The blue will go in my backup pair of KEDS and the red will be my emergency pair of laces. Because the laces are elastic (nylon) and not cotton, they should be more resistant to dirt. In the packet you also get extra screws, Phillips head screwdriver and instructions. The first photo is my mistake in not putting the shoe on to mark it.

If you're tired of re-tying shoelaces, or want to convert your laced shoes to slip-ons, this product will do it! I've converted all of my (formerly) lace-up shoes using these. The magnetic metallic clasp is well-designed, and does NOT release or come "unclasped" while wearing. I have big hands, so a bit of dexterity is required to properly screw together the 2 pieces that grip the elastic lace in a way that properly aligns those 2 bits of metal. I've gotten it wrong, but the 2 metal pieces that make up each half of the clasp are durable enough that if you get it wrong and have to restart the threading/screwing you don't strip the threads on those pieces. The supplied mini-screwdriver is most handy! The elastic in the laces is strong enough that I've swapped/re-used the elastic "laces" supplied from a pair of worn-out sneakers to a new pair, and the elastic still works great. 100% recommend!

These were the perfect answer for a little boy who has trouble keeping his shoes tied! His shoe laces were too long and would not stay tied even when double tied. I found these laces easy to replace and the magnetic clasp easy to work. They also come in assorted colors. I bought a white pair and red pair for his red sneakers, the red was a perfect match! There is not a lot of give in the elastic but I think that’s probably good so they will last longer. He loves his shoes now that he can slip them on, match the magnetic links together and go. Fantastic solution to our problem!

I ordered two sets of these for my 5 year old that cannot tie shoe laces yet. I figured magnets would be the way to go so he could put shoes on and off on his own. I was wrong. The magnets do not stay attached while he's wearing his shoes - they have fallen off during play. Any time he pulls the shoe laces together to attach the magnets, one of the magnets tends to fall from the lace - leaving me to have to reattach the magnet several times a week. The magnets are attached to the laces with a tiny screw and it just doesn't seem to affix to the lace well enough to hold on. Bottom line, these are not the way to go.

Bought a few pairs of these for my 6 year old son's shoes because he doesn't know how to tie laces yet. Material is very stretchy, but thick and of good quality--didn't feel cheap or that it would tear easily. Installation was pretty simple, the screw were a bit tiny so I could see if manual dexterity or vision is an issue, it would be difficult. He's worn the shoes for a few days now without any issues and a big smile as he can put them on himself (lol)! Would definitely buy again!
