Not completely sure but it appears the only difference is the “professional” model comes with leather sheath.

They are not necessarily an upgrade as they are different Ergo needs. There are specific pruners they have for certain tasks. Loppers, anvil pruners etc. Hope this helps. Ernest Turman-Garden South.
