Worth the price! So far, these are the only pet grooming scissors which I have purchased, that actually cut my dogs hair! Cheaper scissors are horrible.I know these are made for trimming, styling and not for actual cutting, but they are very good at both

I am a Certified Master groomer of 30 plus years. I do traveling grooming my tools are taking a beating hence to cost of replacing them is key here. These give a very nice finish for pet grooming. For competition grooming maybe-if they were just out of the case. I do mostly toy dogs and these shears work perfectly and the case keeps them nice until the dog kicks them on the floor or the owner gets involved and knocks them down. The curve shear lost its rubber spacer off the handle. I’m looking for a replacement but I’m ready to reorder and quit looking. Oh ya no need to sharpen and send them off for weeks it’s cheaper to buy new and fresh!

Pretty! The curved and straight scissors were really quiet, they were sturdy and cut well. The thinning shears were just okay they could have worked a bit better but they got the job done. The curved shears I was able to use in both hands but both the thinning and the straight were not which made it harder for me. The comb does not look like the pic the teeth are all spaced the same. And are a bit farther apart than expected but the comb worked well. The scissors could have been more comfortable. All in all they worked well.

The shears are gorgeous. Very comfortable and easy to maneuver. They’re light which is good on the wrists, too. The handle feels like a high quality metal and the curve is perfect for Asian-style grooming faces. Highly recommend.

This is only the third time I’ve used it for grooming on a clean dog…. It no longer cuts well, and adjusting the screw does not help. Not worth the money.

Great set!!! I use it so often to trim my Goldendoodle’s mass of hair!!! It’s a great set, including the thinning shears...great for managing the inevitable tangles and mats in his coat! Really good quality for the money!

Unless I got a different set from most, I am unsure why there is any 5 star reviews. I got the set and the case was close to falling apart and it was wet in the inside. No idea how it could get that wet inside the package as it came with other goods in one box. All the other good were dry, but the scissors, inside the pack, was wet. I have used a lot of Japanese steel, and these were not Japanese steel. They felt more like plastic and barely cut. I sent them back and got the Japanese steel scissors I usually get from a reputable source. When I look through the reviews now I do see a few people where the inside of the case was wet as well. Don't get how that could happen unless it was dumped into the ocean before getting to the US where Amazon chose not to see it was wet and placed it in a box. I would say if you are a groomer your best bet is don't cut costs, just go with your gut and get the scissors that may be more expensive from a source you know you can trust or buy local.

I really love this scissor. Works very well. Love this brand. Will buy other scissors from this brand.
