This is a really nice webcam, especially for the price! Picture quality is great, microphone sounds good, and it comes with an impressive array of mounting options. Installing the camera was easy, just plug-and-play on my Windows PC and it instantly recognized it and worked. I really like the included privacy cover that lets you cover the lens when not in use. Probably unnecessary and paranoid, but I like having it, especially if the camera will be in a bedroom.There is also a little green light that turns on whenever an app is using the camera, which is another feature not always included on USB webcams. Just another privacy feature that I really appreciate. If that light comes on when you're not using the camera, you know to check which apps might be running and using it. Very helpful.The camera has a built-in mount for gripping the top of any standard computer monitor. This grip works fine, but doesn't hold super tightly, any accidental jiggle of the monitor, or tug on the cable and it will come off. Not terrible, but I wish it gripped tighter.The stand also has a tripod screw hole! This isn't common among webcams, and I really like that its there. There is a tiny tripod stand included in the box, which is great, but you could use it on any large or small tripod to use this camera in almost any situation. The included tripod stand works well standing on a desk and gives you an easy way to stand this camera up for use in a conference room, kitchen counter, or any other use where clipping it to a monitor isn't an option.My only complaint is that the camera mount is fixed side-to side and can't be swiveled. Once it's on top of your monitor, you can only tilt it up and down, not pan it side to side. For most people that should be fine, you'll have it centered anyway, but most webcams at least give you the option of slightly angling it side to side and I wish that was an option here.Overall, though, this is a really nice webcam and I can easily recommend it. The range of mounting options alone will make it great for almost any use. Plus, it's pretty inexpensive as webcams go. Definitely check it out!

I bought this webcam to stay in touch with my family. I have Mexico and it feels nice to be able to connect with them with webcamming. My sister recommended this product to me so I can set it up on my desktop! I thought it would be difficult but it was actually simple! And the quality is good too! For the price I expected something with less quality but it worked so well! Camera quality is good and my webcamming experience has upgraded with this product!

For $50-60, this camera does what I need it to do. I started streaming to twitch from my xbox and wanted to pickup a webcam to use for this. It has a good enough quality image for getting started. Unfortunately, I can't adjust any of the image settings on the xbox, but that's more of an xbox problem than the camera problem. Hoping to switch to streaming my xbox through a PC here in the near future and hope that I can adjust the image settings once I'm using the camera there. To setup, all I had to do was plug it in, very easy. Would recommend as a starter webcam for those getting into streaming.

[OVERALL]The physical hardware setup is cool and perfect for what I need, but the image quality is too low, pixelated, and blurry. What this camera will work for is video chats, able to see who you are looking at, but the image may be slightly pixelated, blurry, and the color/lighting may not be high quality.[PHYSICAL HARDWARE]Physically the hardware is pretty good. Small and lightweight. Looks good. Has a lens cover you can close to block the camera physically, this is a must security feature in my opinion, very good. The mini tripod is cool, has bendable legs. The camera can swivel all the way down to face the surface it is on, and all the way up to record the roof and even further.[IMAGE QUALITY] The product info says it records 1080p which it can be set to this frame size, however the pixel quality appears really low. When viewing myself with the camera I see "squares" of pixels when it is set to 1080p. To me this is not HD 1080p. HD means High Definition. High Definition describes a system providing an image resolution of substantially higher resolution than the previous generation of technology. 1080p means 1,080 progressively scanned lines, or, frame size in pixels which is defined as number of horizontal pixels × number of vertical pixels, for example 1280 × 720 or 1920 × 1080.[FIXED FOCUS] Camera information says it has "fixed focus". A photographic lens for which the focus is not adjustable is called a fixed-focus lens. The focus is set at the time of lens design, and remains fixed. It is usually set to the hyperfocal distance, so that the depth of field ranges all the way down from half that distance to infinity, which is acceptable for most cameras used for capturing images of humans or objects larger than a meter.[IMAGE TESTING] When testing this camera recording several different objects from several close range distances of about half a foot to 4 feet, slightly blurry images were captured. I was unable to capture fine details like text on a paper, text and images on a mobile device, each of these items appeared blurry. First tested recording on Windows Live Movie Maker and recorded short amount of video, it was pixelated and blurry. Then recorded in OBS studio. OBS allows me to go into the actual camera settings and see everything the camera is capable of, and what can be adjusted. I was unable to obtain a better image quality by making adjustments.[RETURN] Unable to use this because I needed an HD camera which could record detail. Returned the item because of this. Would recommend anyone who needs to record detail to choose an HD camera or camcorder that is not a webcam.

The webcam works well with my computer, the setup is very easy. Just plug and it will install itself to be up and going in seconds. It advertised the webcam is 1080p webcam, very clear video as I expected. This comes with a mini tripod, but it also fits on top of any monitor or laptop. I took photos of both uses. Also comes with a lens cap to put on when not in use for added security.
