I love these magnetic letters. They are made of a fairly study foam and the magnetic part covers the whole of the back of each letter. Many of the plastic ones have tiny little magnets on the back and then they are prone to falling off especially, if like my grandchildren, they like to stick them on uneven surfaces like radiators (only when the heating is off obviously).The set includes 3 of each lower case letter, 1 of each upper case and 2 of each digit plus mathematical signs. They are a nice size and brightly coloured. They also come in a lovely box with a ribbon and include a cloth bag to store them in. They make a lovely gift. Very happy.

Purchased for my 4 year old granddaughter. I had looked at different sets of magnetic numbers and letters. But this stood out from the rest. I liked the lower case t, which looked like a t (with a curl at the end and didn't look like a cross - like this, straight 'I' and a line going through it at the top). I wasn't sure how many letters or numbers there would be - it didn't appear to have this information, but I still ordered the set.When it arrived, I was thrilled to see there was one set of capital letters and 3 sets of lower case. There were two of each number, plus various symbols, + = x etc. The magnets attach easily to the fridge or a magnetic board. I would definitely recommend this set.

I ordered one set of magnetic alphabet from Jaques of London for my 4 years old daughter and I’m so impressed with the quality and nicely wrapped box. Good price as there are over 130 pieces of alphabet in one set: 26 capital letters, 3 x 26 lower-case letters, 2 set of numbers and some mathematical symbols. My daughter loves the colourful letters. We are going to have so much fun to play and learn the alphabet with this magnetic set on whiteboard. As it’s such a well presented item and top quality products, I have since bought another 2 sets for my daughter’s cousins (5 and 7 years old) as a Xmas present. It’s great to be able to support UK family business too!

Although the package was beautifully wrapped with a ribbon and well presented, I found the actual magnets to be a bit disappointing. The magnets have black scuffs and marks all over. I’m assuming this is from the backing rubbing on the soft foam front. Perhaps the seller could consider a different packaging method to prevent this in the future.However, that doesn’t affect their use and my toddler is certainly still enjoying the set. The magnets are strong and a good size. They are easy for small hands to pick up and stick well to our board.

I ordered them last in January 2020 and they're still good to use. I'm ordering again because my son is now 6 and we've lost so many over the years there's hardly any left for him to make big words. He was only 1 when I first got them but I think it was a great way to introduce him to the alphabet and lower/uppercase before he got into school. Now he's bigger it helps improve his spelling while i cook, without him realising. He loves math too and we've only got the divide symbol left lol, I can't wait for them to arrive tomorrow, theyre great for education outside of school. I uploaded a picture to show some that we still have they're easy to clean with soapy water and there's some slight damage but for being around my son for 5 years I think they did great. He likes to really test the strength of his toys, not many of his have lasted this long. The colours are still very bright and I'm surprised how strong the magnets are they hold up cards too

These letters are nice & pleasant to use. A good idea to have a nice material bag to tidy them after use, nice touch there.
