The 1920s-set, pre-Potter "Wizarding World" adventures for magical zoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) continue, as he's exhorted by the young Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) to head to Paris and undermine the authoritarian power grab of cunning and charismatic renegade wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Johnny Depp). J.K. Rowling and David Yates return as screenwriter and director; Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Ezra Miller, Alison Sudol, and Zoë Kravitz also star. 134 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack: English. Two-disc set.

In one word AWESOME but......................
One of the best Fantastic Beasts movie ever made. Eddie Redmayne is fabulous as always and so is Jude Law.One request to Warner Bros. is to get Johnny Depp back in all the next movies as Gellert Grindelwald because he is the best. No one else can do justice to his role. Mads Mikkelsen's acting is absolutely ridiculous compared to Johnny Depp. He will not be able to create that charm which Johnny has created already with his brilliant acting skills. I would love to see Johnny back on screen as Mr. Grindelwald.

Fantastic Watch!
What I liked best: Newt's fear of a desk job as evidenced by his boggart's transformation, Leta Lestrange's last "I love you" to the Scamander brothers without knowing if it was directed at Newt or Theseus, Jude Law's charming portrayal of a younger Dumbledore. What I didn't like: Grindelwald being played by different actors, too much data to process that should probably take several movies to sort out...
