Great product for home studio
I'm a big fan of wireless systems like this in general. If you are still standing up and stepping on your instrument cable then you'll also be a fan once you switch over. Probably the hard part is figuring out which of the many systems and different price points works best for your situation. I won't claim to have that answer for you but what I can say is that for my needs...which are pretty basic...practice and playing in my home 'studio', alone, and doing some limited digital recording using garageband...these are fine. This is my 2nd set of these...the first time around I went with the more expensive xVive setup. It worked great for about a year, then the batteries life started to slowly reduce and by the time we hit 18 months it was basically unuseable. While I liked the form factor with the xVives and have nothing bad to say about the sound quality, I think $150 is a crazy amount to spend for 18 months...so I contacted their customer support and they offered me a small discount on a new set. I said 'no thanks' because it was still a crazy price for something that lasts 18 months...maybe a bit longer if you get lucky. So this time around I picked up this Getaria solution. Battery life is great...I play a few hours a day and only recharge them every couple of days when I think about it. Sound quality is very similar to the xVive. To me it's the same but I can't honestly say I was able to do a side by side in a perfect environment. But for practicing at home it's certainly more than good enough for me (I've been playing 8 years and consider myself intermediate +). The form factor is probably the biggest difference and the somewhat larger units are less convenient (don't tuck in quite as well on a strat, stick out a bit further on a LP) but not a show stopper. Given a choice of these at $60 or xVive at $150, I'm happy with my choice. I've had these a couple months now and would buy them again based on my experience so far.

Works way better than I expected
I've now used this system for several gigs, one lasting over four hours. I use it between my PRS guitar and a multi-effects box from which I run a cable to my amp. No problems at all with reception or battery life. Sound quality is good though I think the signal is a little more compressed than when I play through a good cable. That said, I get used to it on the gig quickly and the convenience is worth it. It was a snap to use right out of the box. Build quality is decent though if I was touring I'd be more concerned. But for this weekend warrior, it's a great system for the money.

Nice, but not a good physical fit
Actually a very nice product, easy to use, comes in a nice case. However, I returned it because it does not fit well in my stratocastor. The plug is a bit to short where it connects to the square body of the device. In order to get it to fit in my strat, it has to be upside down where I can't see the battery light and it still sticks out instead of being flat against the guitar. When using my tremolo bar, I often hit it with my hand. Otherwise, it worked very well and great sound quality with no hum and no delay. I settled for a similar device with a more curved form factor that fits well. This device would work well for a guitar that does not have a recessed jack.

It is a good product
I plugged the devices in to charge. I tried them out after 30 minutes. They work well. I waited a day. Played with them in and did a test walking through my house while playing, 30- 40 feet away through 3 walls, or 2 rooms away. All fine. I do not smash or trash my guitars so they do not get abused. I cannot afford more than 1 335 so I play without rock poses. Yes you could break them if you are just an ape with an axe. It is nice to be rid of a 15 foot cord when playing, rehearsing and recording. I played for 2 hours straight on a full charge and had juice left over. I usually dont do marathon jams over 2 hours so I could squeeze a short booster charge if needed at a break. I am happy because I only spent 70$ and not 200 or more. The product does what it is supposed to do and the time claim and the distance claims appear to have been accurate. I leave the little foam rings on the jacks as well. I run through a 5 pedal board and have noticed no loss or delay, maybe because I use delay anyway! If you are like Pete Townsend, then buy something else made of metal. They are plastic, dont drop them or your guitar. Maxx Black on soundcloud.com

Great product at a good price
Awesome product for the price. We purchased this to use for a Godin A6 in live shows. The battery seems to last forever. We have used it for back to back shows without having to charge and it worked great. The sound quality is good and have not noticed any difference in sound from this to direct wire to our PA. We have not noticed any latency, if there is it is not noticeable. I would recommend to any musician that is looking for a good wireless setup at a good price.

Exceeded Expectations
The sound quality and overall value. I am not a professional musician but I can beat it around a bit. This has good range, have gone into yard with doors closed. The packaging is reminiscent of an Apple product, very nice. This may not be appropriate for a premiere gig, but for me it is value, shedding the cords. The battery life if good so far.Bottom line is for the price this is value to me. I have spent the same on bar bills and only got a headache.

Took a shot and it paid off!
I was looking for a wireless system and the cheapest was 150$ for a decent when I looked at GC and Musicians Friend. I saw a few videos about cheap ones on amazon and then saw on about the 5.8 mhz ones not having interference issues due to being on a separate frequency than wifi and other electronics. The price made me think theyd be okay but clearly get what you pay for. Well I work from home with lots of computers and electronics. My guitar stuff is next to everything and wifi is always going. I HAVE NEVER ONCE HAD AN ISSUE WITH THIS SYSTEM. In all honestly, I mainly play at home with jamming with a few people but these work great! I plug into my Yamaha THR or my tube amp and I experience no delay or notice any loss I'm the signal. I keep waiting for the wheels to fall off but they work every single time and I have yet to have a reciever die on me while playing. I just charge them overnight once or twice a week and I have never had an issue. I never write reviews but this system has been the best piece of equipment I've bought in the past couple years. Thanks!

Wireless guitar patch
I've used this at 3 gigs since I bought it and so far it's worked great! Used for about 3 hours at each show plus left on between sets, total of about 4 hours use and they still had more charge to offer as they weren't indicating low battery. Connectivity and sound is great (using with a bass guitar). Only thing I noticed is that on channel one it interferes with my home wifi however it has 4 channels and moving it to another channel eliminated that issue. Range was plenty good for bar gigs, I was able to walk to the far side of the room to sound check without losing connection.

Excelente opción
Es una excelente opción por el precio, lo utilizo para practicar y tocar en una iglesia mediana y me funciona sin problemas, buen alcance sin interferencias.

Reliable
Very pleased with the setup, long enough of charge for me to play 3 1 hour sets and still going strong for my next gig. I will purchase a 2nd set
