Studio Watercolor Pad, Hot-Press, 11" x 14", 140 lb., 12 Sheets

Love, love Fabriano Artistico Hot Press paper. While this paper is listed as Fabriano Studio, it feels and functions just like the Artistico. When I buy Fabriano Artistico it comes in a full sheet, 35x22 and has to be cut down to my favorite 11x14 size. This pad of Fabriano Studio saves the step of resizing the paper and I'm really looking forward to using this pad more often for future projects. If you do Ink Calligraphy with Gouache paints, this paper is great for art projects.

Exactly as expected for Hotpress, nice an smooth, but still allows a decent amount of water without buckling up. It was the first time I had purchased this particular brand, and I will be happy to do so again.

I didn't realize that this is not 100% cotton paper as most of Fabriano's paper is.

I am alternating cold and hot press paper for my watercolor painting. This paper is a good weight. It is a bright white which I like. Being hot press paper it is smooth. No complaints. It does take a little while to adjust from cold press. I love how the watercolor flows and is sharp. The only problem is if you put the wrong color down, especially if it is a staining watercolor paint, it will be difficult to erase, but that is not Fabriano's fault, it is the property of the paper.

Excellent quality and texture, whether you are using water colors or are using it for pencil work. I have a new favorite paper

I primarily use this paper with aquarelle crayons and gouache. It is perfect and does not buckle. It dries flat and the colors are vibrant. Great product, I have multiple sizes now and will be using this product as a main choice moving forward.

This is my first purchase of hot press watercolor paper. I normally use cold press and like the texture. Recently I have been doing sketches with micron pens and adding watercolor washes to finish the work. The pens work much better on the smooth texture. It is very easy to move the paint around on the smoother paper.

I finally found perfect pad for ink drawings. I never used it for watercolor, but ink, rapidographs, nibs, or other ink related tools lans perfectly on it's surface. It is tough, 300 GSM, can take beating and scratching:) I love it.

You get what you pay. Good if your work doesn’t require lots of water or layers of work.

This is one of my favourite papers to use with coloured pencils. It’s expensive, but worth it for the quality which is always superior. I find that the tooth is always easy to work with and it’s very smooth. It’s a beautiful white surface to work with. I can’t comment on the absorbency as I only use coloured pencils, which it’s perfect for. I’d recommend this paper to anyone
