I am a recreational player, nowhere near professional. I bought this paddle because of the two rubbers--pips in and pips out. I use the pips in side for my backhand and the pips out for my forehand. My forehand needs more work, so it's been taking some time to adjust to the paddle, but I definitely see an improvement in my shots compared to my cheap paddle. The price for this is very reasonable, and the fact that it comes with a case is a plus. I use a sponge with water and dish detergent to clean it. Pips in is still tacky, and pips out is clean!

I love the paddle you get for two reasons. I use it as a pen hold paddle but is ment for shake hand. I get to actions out of this paddle though the break spin action and lots of power or creates lots of spin and power. as i look at a player i have to think what kind of player they are before i decide what side i use i look at the player and see if they use lots of spin or lots of power anyway think about if your a shake hand player you would have the best of both worlds.

Best racquet by far, unless you need a sticky forehand, then again you can flip it around. The two different surfaces have their strengths but you have variety to play your strengths. Beautifully balanced and great control. Turns a beginner into intermediate.

I use this in league play once or twice a week and so far its been great. The short pips help to counteract spin and the inverted side is good for control and spin. It is not a fast paddle, so if you play with speed you will not like this. Its better for a defensive style of play. Also the paddle is very lightweight. I'd buy it again but the different rubbers arent for everyone

Omg, this is very good! I have had fun with this paddle for weeks! The pips out rubber can be used based on your strategy. It is a great paddle!

I'm totally disappointed. First from Butterfly to make this thing that is named a table tennis racket!! I depended primarily on the name of Butterfly because I used to play with their products for more than 15 years. I tried Sriver, superSriver, Sriver FX even SuperAnti. Also tried their carbon blades, Mazunov, Gergely. I know that this item is for beginners and cannot be compared to these products I mentioned, but the name Butterfly is still there which means that the lowest grade of rackets must still valuable. Second, disappointed from the customers who reviewed this products and call themselves (intermediates!!!). I thought that the intermediates players are the local champions!! I won many local champions outside USA and inside USA (on the University level) and cannot call my self intermediate!!! Apart from my disappointment let's evaluate the product. The black backhand is very slow and spinning power is not more than 5, it is good in defence but cannot support multi- backhand spins, it will let you down after the second spin. The red forehand is piped out!! Although it is faster than the black rubber and its spin is acceptable (not excellent), but the pipes make poor adjustment of ball direction, needs more and more practice to control your spin. Packaging and delivery were more than excellent, the racket shape is so nice and the double pack is amazing (If the shape attracts you). Delivery is so earlier than estimated, the item arrived 3 days before estimated time which is wonderful as usual from Amazon. Thanks everybody for your patience.
