Why did you pick this product vs others?:It tastes even better than my favorite Indonesian sweet soy sauce. I used it for Indonesian, Thai, and Korean dishes. On top of that, this company went out of the way in packing it. They doubled up the boxes, put paper enough so that the plastic container sit snuggly; they also taped the top so it didn't move. Definitely recommend this to friends and relatives. Thank you.

Great kecap manis. I just ran out of the jug of what I bought 5 years ago. Stored in dark pantry at room temperature. The last of it was just as good as the first.

I love sweet soy sauce. I bought it for the first time about 20 years ago, and have made trips to the Asian grocery store for years for the smaller glass bottle of this stuff, and of course for many other things...I tried it because I'd never known how many different kinds of soy sauce there were until I was browsing around a few stores on argyle in Chicago. I used it in some homemade curry and then some noodle dishes and it became a staple in my pantry. This is nice and cuts down on special trips to find it, so I'll keep buying it as long as I can - lasts a long time!!!

I am a vegan who eats a lot of rice and veggies. I also like to keep oil to a minimum, and sodium low. I'm always on a mission to find yummy sauces that are oil free and not loaded with salt. Most soy sauces have at least 800-1000mg of sodium, and even the low sodium varieties are about 500mg. I recently discovered a sweet soy sauce (a different brand) at my local grocery store, and it had 470mg of sodium so I tried it, and it was delicious! I put it on everything now so I started searching to see what other options were out there. I came across this big jug of ABC Bali's Best Sweet Soy and saw it only had 240 mg of sodium so I jumped on it. It's fantastic! It arrived quickly and very well packaged. It came with a booklet of info and recipes, and a vegan recipe was included which I appreciate. The sauce is delicious! The only reason this is 4 stars and not 5 is because the nutritional info on the picture is different than what is on my bottle. Perhaps it's a different variety? The picture shows 240mg sodium and 14g sugar. What I received has 440mg sodium and 9g sugar. If you are watching your sugar it will be better for you. I watch sodium more than sugar so would prefer the 240mg, but it's still the lowest sodium I've seen in a soy sauce so I'm happy and will continue to buy it.

Finally found the perfect sweet soy sauce. So versatile. Use it as the base for lots of my own sauce recipes. Can’t be more happy with the flavor.

Even though I have been to the to the Far East, I had not tried sweet soy sauce before, (a least not that I knew of) I have a recipe that calls for sweet soy sauce. Good sauce, I like the taste, sort of a soy sauce molasses, has lots of uses, have mixed with bbq sauce, etc. Ordered this from Amazon. Very large bottle, not easy to pour from, I put some in a smaller more manageable bottle. The large bottle contains enough sauce to share with family and friends.Keeping in fridge to extend shelf life.12/2019 Purchased another bottle.My family loved this sauce.

Really impressed with the service. Thanks Amazon. This sauce is so rich, thick and flavorful! Love it. Reminds me of authentic Southeast Asian cooking I've had during my travels and life abroad. My family loved it when I used it to marinade chicken and salmon. So easy!! Everything in a zip lock, sweet soy, lime, sesame oil,.. whatever ingredients I felt like, really. Grilled/ pan fry, dinner was on the table. I drizzled sweet soy & olive oil over some broccoli & roasted it while my daughter mixed peanut butter with the sweet soy to make a dip for the chicken. It was beyond amazing. I have to say my new favorite ingredient.
