These are “San MARZANNO Style”. Not even close to real San Marzanno tomatoes from near Naples Italy. Get the real thing!

Just do a search online for this company, Simpson imports, and you’ll see the lawsuit. Whole food should be ashamed to carry this product.

Best tomato flavor
Best fresh tomato flavor. I believe it’s cooked at a lower temperature, so not as red as others so retains fresh tomato flavor. I should’ve ordered more. The price is a bit steep for a single can, so I went with the crushed tomato variety 6 pack. I know it’s not Italian in origin. and I’m not sure whether tomato variety or actually San Marzano, but the proof is in the taste and this one gets an A+
