Love Nars. This is a potent color. I like it but need a mirror to apply. A tiny bit goes a long way on this light-skinned person. A bit drying. I usually apply a tiny bit of this to take the pale away and then top with an oil or some Burt Bees. I look ridiculous if I get too much of this particular color on my lips. It is very pretty in tiny amounts applied in good lighting. Applied in dark lighting and then viewed in good lighting--Oh no. Just don't do that. Use a little caution with this color. Nars is great, this color is a little dangerous in my opinion. It is kind of orange-red, peachy.

This is an amazing lip color for the holidays, but really is the perfect red for any season. This is a blue based red (v. an orange based red) and looks amazing on any skin tone but I have paper white skin and it looks great on my pale vampire skin. If you press some powder on the first application and blot and reapply, it can even withstand dinner. This wears all day and only have to touch up a few times, it's a great product. I had never tried NARS lipstick before so this was a great first lipstick to try. I bought two as holiday gifts for my girlfriends and they loved it too.

I like the Nars pencil, but honestly I purchased it by mistake. It's a little darker than I had hoped for, but I think it will be okay with a tan in the summer. Personally I have to say that there are better ones out there that are less money and just as good. My personal favorite is the NYC lip pencil in Brooklyn Brownstone. NYC pencils do not need to be sharpened and the Nars do. I prefer the retractable pencils. The Nars was a little bit dry so I use a lip gloss on top. It's an okay pencil, but I still think you can get the same quality for less money on lip pencils.

Could use alone or on top of lipstick as a gloss.

This color is bold, beautiful and hard to find. I am so glad I found it on Amazon.

I’ve never tried a Nars product before, but I keep seeing YouTubers who recommend them. A couple of things struck me right away. I got Lodhi color, and in the picture it is much more neutral than the actual product. The real color is very pink (see pic) and was not what I was going for. The other issue is the texture. It’s very creamy and luscious, which to me is fine if it’s a lipstick but this is a pencil. Am I wrong? It should have a more solid texture and be a little more long lasting. I’m no makeup expert; that’s just my opinion. If I work up the courage to actually put it on my lips, I may update the review! ;)

After years of using regular lipsticks and lip pencils to outline, I discovered this NARS fat pencil and love it. No longer need anything other than this to bring long lasting color to my lips, sometimes all day long. I add a little gloss on top. It did require the acquisition of a new sharpener because of its larger diameter size. At first I considered this to be an extravagant purchase for a lipstick but it has lasted a long time even with every day usage. If you can find the right color you will love this product also. Highly recommended.
