Goliath Domino Rally Ultra Power — STEM-Based Domino Set for Kids,Multicolor

I had a similar set as a kid in the 80’s that I loved, but was concerned about all the negative reviews. I’m so happy I went for it because my 10 year old son and 13 year old daughter love it! Yes, it’s plastic, but the pieces are easy to work with and I don’t see them breaking as long as they are played with correctly. The domino laying machine is not worth it in my opinion, since I can place them just as quickly with my hands, but my kids think it is the coolest thing ever and they consistently use it, loading the pieces in specific color patterns and creating perfect lines across the table. It was frustrating to load at first, but once they got the hang of it, there have been very little issues with it functioning properly.This has brought hours of fun to our household and I am grateful to have a diversion from video games. I would definitely recommend this as a gift foe kid ages 9-12.

The media could not be loaded.  I was browsing a local thrift store and came across a Domino Rally Pirate set that was priced at four bucks. I took a look inside but didn't see any dominoes in the box so I passed on it. This lead me on a search for a domino run set that I could share with my kids. I had fond memories of playing with a Chain Lighting 600 set as a kid which came with some very small dominoes but had a lot of cool features and was tons of fun.I started my search with the various Domino Rally sets currently on the market but was steered away by some of the bad reviews so ended up getting a Bulk Dominoes 143 piece Kinetic Domino toppling set for about $30. It came in the mail and the entire family has really enjoyed this set. The quality is top notch and the plastic dominoes are easily stackable. It came time to add to the set and I decided to take another look at the Domino Rally sets as I was wanting to get into more of the cool domino run accessories that I remembered as a kid.My search lead me to give the Domino Ultra Power set a try. It arrived and has more than exceeded my expectations. It's been awesome and a lot of fun for the whole family. Everything has worked as it should and the flying airplane can cover about a 3 feet gap which allows you to build two separate domino runs and still trigger them all by lining up the airplane just right. I would say some care needs to be used with the accessory items but they work as advertised and hold up just fine. The automatic domino laying machine works good most of the time. We have had it mess up a few times where it didn't place the domino correctly and it fell over knocking some other dominoes over as well. I recommend leaving gaps in your domino run when you build it and then fill in the gaps at the end. This saves from having to start from scratch if you accidentally knock over a domino. The Domino Rally dominoes are about 2/3 of the size of the kinetic dominoes from the other set that I bought but can still be used together.All in all great fun! I'm guessing that some of the bad reviews are just out of frustration. It does take a certain level of patience and hand eye coordination to set up everything correctly but is rewarding in the end when everything works as it should.

I had the original Domino Rally set in the late 80's/early 90's. I remember having lots of fun with it, between the rocket ship and domino stairs. I was hoping that this would be similar to its predecessor some 25 years prior...For the most part, it is. I do believe there is a bit less than the older version, but still just as fun.Unfortunately, we had one MAJOR issue. Three pieces of the rocket ship were missing. The box wasn't open and, no, I didn't lose them. You can actually see the plastic parts where they SHOULD be, but weren't. Almost like a manufacture's defect.So, despite the fact that we cannot get the rocket ship to work, it's still pretty fun. A few things that need to be addressed from other reviews:Are the dominoes flimsy? - Well, they are definitely light. It's plastic and certainly not as heavy or sturdy as a 'regular' domino. This was similar to the 80's counterpart. I personally feel it makes them easier to set up. The bad news is, they don't have a lot of force when falling, so you'll find that a lot of the fun interactive pieces have hair triggers so these light dominoes can actually activate them... So, they aren't flimsy to the point where you could snap one in half in your hand, but certainly made as cheap as possible.Is it worth the money? - A matter of opinion. It comes with a grand total of 188 dominoes. If you factor only that into consideration, no it's not. However, the various interactive sets help add to the value. The BEST part of this set is the automatic domino setting car. It's very cool to watch it work... which doesn't happen 100% of the time, but nothing's perfect. Overall, I think that, $35 is reasonable, but any more than that and I may start to lean towards the 'no' column. It's far from what some call 'junk'.I've contacted Goalith Games and hoping they will simply send me the missing pieces. If they do, I'll be glad to make this 4/5 stars. Well see how reasonable they are. I'd hate to have to return it.UPDATE: I ended up e-mailing Goliath Games and had to send a scanned image of the missing piece (from the instruction book). They were very helpful and sent the missing pieces to our house at no cost. The only problem is it took a LONG time to get the piece shipped to our house (like 4-6 weeks), but it did eventually come.

Increíble juego. No solo se divierten los niños, como papás también es muy entretenido crear. Las piezas tienen la calidad necesaria, el cohete es mejorable, se ve un poco hecho a la mala, pero lo que es un agasajo, es el carrito robot que pone las fechas por ti.

fácil de armar, ideal para niños entre 6-7 años en adelante, se requiere mucha paciencia porque las fichas caen fácil lo cual lo hace más divertido, lo mejor es que se pueden ir adquiriendo juegos extras para armar el set más grande y completo. fichas de buena calidad, los accesorios podrían ser de mejor calidad pero pienso son durables para la edad recomendada. eso si demoró mucho el juego en llegar

Ingenioso Juego que ayuda a desarrollar la creatividad en los niños y sin el uso de tecnología adictiva. Buena calidad de los materiales con el que están hechas las piezas, con excepción del cohete que tiene materiales muy endebles.

Llegó antes de lo esperado y sin pagar suplementk todo perfecto, mi hijo está disfrutando como loco, aunque me tiene la casa patas arriba.

trae distintos accesorios, la verdad esperaba menos de este producto pero esta increíble. El carrito que pone dominos es lo mejor sin duda alguna.
