I might take my affection for a bit more seriously than others. When it comes to my lights outside I want the to look like how the pros install them...large C9 bulbs, clean lines, exact lengths, as few wires as humanly possible and as discreet as possible.Male, female and in-line zip plugs make that a reality. But some are better than others. I've had issues with plugs in the past where sliding on the cover is extremely difficult to near impossible. These slight on great and then are securely in place. As I continue to my setup I will absolutely buy more of this brand.

Love these plugs! I setup my entire display with these. Didn’t have a single issue with water or snow.

Needed to create some 8 light C7 strings (from standard 25 light strings) and these made the job relatively easy. A little fussy getting the teeth to bite into the wire (and a couple had teeth that were bent and useless right out of the package) and you definitely have to use a slip-joint plier to get the cover closed tightly, but I accomplished my mission and have plenty leftover for another project.

Male plug is only made to fit inside a outlet....This can't be used as a "blackout cord" for between Christmas lights...One prong is larger than the other preventing this function.Basically, just making a really cheap extension cord.

Easy to install on wire but can only be plugged into an outlet, WILL NIT FIT IN STRING LIGHT FEMALE END. Great quality product but it needs to specify that it must be plugged into outlet only.
