This pump was awesome! It worked so well for camping and I'm so glad we purchased it. We put a large bowl underneath and basically used it as a sink when we were camping. It was great for washing hands, doing some light dishes and also for brushing teeth or just getting a glass of water. I wish I would have purchased one years ago and would recommend this to anyone

Was looking around for a replacement for the tilted gravity feed spout and rack system that started to drip. Comparing price to that and this item is a big difference with a lot less lifting, and a lot less room for spillage error. Works more like an on-demand extraction pump. The flow is medium speed and smooth. When filling a glass, etc, wherever you stop the motor, that is where the water stops in your glass. No gravity drip runs, but the stopper is a just in case.All the light blue and stem plastic are ABS. If you're concerned about battery usage and leakage; get a set of battery size adapters and rechargeable Ni-Mh. "Vertical issue" persons can reach the switch when placed on a standard height kitchen counter. The only minor issues are:1) It doesn't completely drain the bottle2) you have to extract some of the water from a fresh bottle before installingSecond is solved by having the stem partially submerged with one hand on the switch and one hand holding a big cup or small jug. This is much easier than gravity feed and manual pumps.

The pump is very easy to use, and was great - while it lasted. It just stopped working after 4 months. I thought perhaps the batteries had died, but installed new batteries and it does not work. Will try a different brand and hope I get a better result.

Got the job done. Attached it to standard 5-gallon water bottles for camping. Very nice flow rate. A little noisy but you use for only a few seconds so it's not an issue. Did not grip the bottles very well, but it wasn't a problem. Switch placement on the top is very good, makes it easy to turn on and off with one finger while your other hand holds the cup or pot,

The media could not be loaded.  Just moved and the tapwater in my new place tastes awful and chemically. Enter this excellent pump and a 5-gallon jug of reverse osmosis. This thing has an excellent battery life. The only thing I don’t totally love is that this appears to be designed to fit into the bottles with the smooth tops, whereas mine is a grooved screw-top. It doesn’t terribly affect functionality, but the pump does not sit securely on top of the jug. Also, this doesn’t bother me, but do be aware, the pump is a bit loud (see video). For me, though, the convenience of having it far outweighs either of those complaints.

While it took a little while to arrive, it was well worth the wait. I have a 5 gallon bottle that I cannot lift, so this is the only way to go. This electric pump replaced a manual one, and the difference is night & day. This pump starts and stops "on a dime", with very little water being wasted (unless you are not paying attention and you over fill the bottle... No, I've Never done that.). So far, it's still running on the same batteries I put in when I received it in November 2014.

If you are OCD, I do not recommend this product. It works great, but it doesn't sit straight up and down in the bottle. This could be the kind of bottles I have, and it doesn't bother me. I had a hand pump before, that only lasted a few months, bc it was made of cheap plastic. This is well made and an all in one product.

Esta bien el dispositivo con la excepción de que no tiene un adaptador universal para los diferentes tipos de garrafón por lo que en los que uso habitualmente no atora o fija y también la longitud del tubo queda un poco corta por lo que los últimos 3 litros de agua del garrafón se tienen que sacar manualmente ya que ya no llega el dispensador.
