These are my science-loving kid's favorite books. He reads them and drops crazy and interesting trivia into conversations better than Cliff from Cheers. Great photos, colorful, and a variety of topics makes these books appealing to any kid!

My son LOVES these books! We have purchased every one of them.For an eleven-year old kid who dislikes reading immensely, I'm amazed every time I find him engrossed in the pages of these books; in fact, he keeps them all stacked by his bed. Then, he'll call me in and before I know it, we are BOTH engrossed in the incredibly interesting facts on each page.The only downside is that time will slip away from you as you find you (as an adult) can't step away from the pages...Keep making these books National Geographic--we want more!

Purchased for 9-year old child. Lots of beautiful photos along with interesting details and facts. A prior edition was available in the school's library; and when she was fascinated and read independently, this was a natural purchase.

If a kid forsakes his iPad for browsing in this, he has a winner in his hands. Gave to great nephews for Christmas, and got great feedback. Best for good readers in early grades, and a sure winner for everyone around 10 years old.

Nicely presented book with great facts. Not too lengthy to read, so good for just browsing through and picking out specific items of interest.

Another hit!! I got my grandson the 1000 Awesome Facts book for this last birthday and he requested this one for his birthday this year. He loved it so much that he had to take it home with him instead of leaving at my house just for visits. He promised to return it when in a few weeks.

This book is really neat, even as an adult I was fascinated by some of the facts in here. It’s a really pretty book, the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s very hard to get my 9 year old to read, but when I gave him this book he couldn’t put it down ! This book is book is awesome ! I regret not buying the other two at the same time

My boys read this book for hours! And they like to show and tell me interesting things they’ve learned. It’s way larger than I expected as well! Win win win.
