I have recently started enjoying Dinty Moore's Chicken and Dumplings and Beef Stew. Both are so filling and delicious. And the fact they are pre-cooked and ready to heat and eat, with no added preservatives, is just simply convenient for a bachelor! I highly recommend! Tasty and filling meal.

It tastes great and it's very filling, but every other time I eat it I have bloody stools, and I think this is related to a recent recall regarding wood contamination. It didn't taste different than I remember, and it didn't hurt to eat. But the left side of my tongue has been hurting after I had it for breakfast today, and sure enough there was signs of something wrong in the toilet too.Wait a few months for the recall to pass by and it'll probably be back to being as delicious and safe as it usually is. But right now, maybe avoid.

Nice to have on hand on nights I don't want to cook. Eat with rice or over toast.

I recently ordered two 8 packs of these Dinty Moore cans. First the good news. Both packs arrived in good condition. The 8 packs were both nestled in a cardboard tray with tight plastic wrap around them so there were no dents or damage to the cans in any way. Secondly, the sell-by dates were all the way out to 2026 so again, very good. (I'm trying to stock up on food because of the craziness going on in the world.) Third, they taste really good. Not too salty, just right. Unfortunately though, I have to disagree with some reviewers that have said there's a lot of beef in this stew. I didn't find that to be the case at all. Sadly, it's mostly potatoes and gravy. There doesn't even seem to be many carrots either. Now, the beef that is in there is really good! Very tender and yummy! There's just not that much of it so, at least for me, I find myself hungry again in a few hours.

This stew is very tasty and convenient

I throw in some vegetables that are on hand and put it over brown rice. A balanced easy to make meal that is reasonably priced. That tastes good. My favorite.A lot of products seem to have lost quality over the years. This one seems to be the same as it has ever been. As far as I can tell. Which means a lot to me as a consumer. I like consistent quality and for product makers to risk the temptation of quick profit at decreasing product quality.
