Amazing Product to stop leaks!
Captain Tolley is a miracle cure! I don't know if it's the cool sea air or all his drinking but the Captain really knows how to cure the leaks! I used this on an old Porsche windshield that was leaking like crazy and with the first application of the Captain, I could see how all the water was getting inside despite going uphill against gravity. Capillary action is amazingly powerful and the Captain uses this same power to seal a leak. On a windshield I was able to watch the white solution travel up and fill the gap between the windshield and frame. It was like magic! And after only a couple applications the leak had stopped and so far has solved my problem. This has saved me a lot of pain, trouble and money in having an old expensive and hard to find windshield removed and resealed.I also have used this product on the taillights and am presently trying to stop a bad leak in the rear hatch area of the car. This rear leak is much too large for what the Captain is made for (the manufacturer states their product is for small cracks no larger than 1mm.) Despite these cracks/openings being much larger, I've found that by applying many times over days/weeks, the leak is filling up. I'm not sure if Captain Tolley will be able to stop the leaks in this area but he has definitely made a sizable effort in resealing this leak.Captain Tolley sticks to glass, rubber, plastic, metal and other sealants once it dries. It also seems to remain flexible so it is able to bend with the movement of whatever it is attached to once it dries. Also, it dries clear so you can easily tell when it's dry and so it will blend in to most areas. One trick I used that worked well was to use the red plastic extension tube from spray lubricants and stuck it in the end of the bottle. This made applying in deeper areas (the inside of the windshield along the front edge of the dashboard) possible but also made applying in all areas easier to control and pinpoint.Very happy someone told me about this and that it's so easy to buy!

Awesome product!
We first discovered this when we had a sailboat with teak hatches. Capt. Tolley's Creeping Crack Cure causes the wood to swell and fixes any leaks. Now I use it on wooden chairs when they get woobly. It fixes them right away. Love this product!!! ❤️

Sealing propertied
Be careful of drips and over filling spaces, thin as water so watch for overflowing and splatters, and drips, completely cover areas around where you are working, most applications are on electronic connections

Works but messy to Apply
This product is thin as water. That's how it gains penetration into the cracks. Runs easily as a result. Work as cleanly as possible as it is very difficult to clean up after cure. VERY difficult. If you are trying to seal spider cracks it difficult to do without getting it all over. Takes a lot of effort to clean up dried product. It did seal a small annoying leak on a window of my sailboat and a few hinge screws. The bottle is huge. It should be sold in a bottle half that size. Most will probably go to waste.

Great specialty sealant for hairline cracks
I've been using Captain Tolley's for almost 20 years. It's a great product for very specialized applications, namely hairline cracks. The sealant is very thin, almost like water. It seeps into the crack via capillary action, then sets. This makes it great for hairline cracks, since capillary action pulls the sealant into cracks that are so fine you could never force caulk or other sealants into them. Conversely, though, Captain Tolley's is not useful on cracks that are wider than hairline cracks, since you'd have to apply the sealant repeatedly over many days to build up enough sealant to fill the crack. Bottom line: For fine, hairline cracks, where you couldn't force thicker sealant into the crack, this product works great; better than any other solution I've found. For anything other than hairline cracks (and I really do mean hairline), find another specialty product better suited to the crack.

the BEST stuff for windows etc on airstream..
I use this on my 2005 airstream classic around doors windows body belt bands etc.. its the best way to seal them especially a bit older unit. We bought our unit in march 2015 and i did that the first good weather we got in like april.. there were no leaks we knew of so this just help to make sure.. no seams have been redone and still water tight..Once you kinda learn how to make it flow you only need just a small hole so just nip a tiny bit off the spout and see .. i cut straight to almost straight across not at 45.. you want a slight bit of angle to tip for good flow.Be sure to have some towels or paper towels to catch the run off.. its a great product and HIGHLY recommend.

Fills well into hairline cracks
I like the way it sucks itself into hairline cracks, and makes itself invisible. I have two uses for it currently. Years ago, I filled some hairline cracks that developed in some new concrete we had poured. Up until the last couple of years, all the cracks I had filled remained pretty stable. I bought some more this year, and reapplied it to the cracks again. The other place I've used it is on a skylight that, last winter, seemed to leak only when the rain was being driven. This summer I applied the product to the seams of the aluminum frame, and the gaskets between the window and frame. Like always, the product sucked itself into place, and with the exception of where I dribbled it, became invisible as it cured. I've applied a couple of coats to two skylights I have in habitable space, and we'll see if that takes care of the problem.Update: 10/13/2020 - The skylight with the leak prior to using the product didn't leak last winter. This year I'm trying something new with the product. Under my carport the concrete slab developed cracks fairly quickly after it was poured. These are not hairline cracks, but not wide enough (1/4"+) to use more traditional crack fillers. This last week I've spread masons sand into the cracks using a plastic glue spreader, and then injected the product into the crack. So far, the product has acted as a binder for the sand. I've had to apply two coats of sand, as the product sucks into the crack, and takes the sand with it, and doing a second coat of sand and product levels out the crack better. We'll see how these filled cracks weather over time.

Works shockingly well!
Boats and leaks just seem to go together. I'm constantly battling leaks on my 50 year old motor yacht when rainy season hits (pacific northwest winters are VERY wet). I used this product quite liberally around where I suspected the water was coming in from and it has reduced the quantity of water getting into my boat by about 70%. I'm extremely pleased. There are a few areas I have to hit, but for the price this product saved me a lot of headache and mopping up water inside.

Fancy name and price for something pretty common? Works as it should though.
Very low viscosity wich can be both good and bad. Seals thin gaps but wont fill anything. The product itself looks and feels like the stuff commonly used as moisture sealer under tiles etc. that you buy for a fraction in the home improvement market.

More useful than I thought.
I have a small water leak into my Land Rover. I knew where it was coming from seam and it was proving to be a problem. A friend told me about Captain Tolleys years ago. I was pleased to see that it was still available. So, the only thing to decide was whether to go for the small bottle or the big one. I am so glad that I opted to buy the Bigger bottle. Since buying it, I have used it on numerous items for sealing. It's a great product and works well. I like the fact that as a liquid form it's white colour and therefore easy to see but then goes transparent upon drying. What could be better?

Magique
Plus liquide que de l'eau ? C'est vrai. Je l'ai utilisé pour remplir des microfissures d'un plateau de douche. C'est simple à utiliser et efficace
