The DEWALT 20V MAX SDS Rotary Hammer Drill has become my go-to tool for heavy-duty tasks around the house. As someone who frequently tackles DIY projects, this drill has proven to be both powerful and versatile. I recently used it for drilling into concrete for a new shelving unit in my garage, and the performance was exceptional. The drill handled the tough material with ease, making the job much quicker and less strenuous. I bought this drill last year so I could probe for rocks before trying to drive steel t-posts 2 feet deep. It works well for that and can hammer through sediment and sandstone well enough to be able to drive posts manually. After I bought this, my M-I-L told me the threshold of her basement door needed to be replaced. I checked it out and their builder didn't attach the threshold to the concrete floor, it held loosely in place with staplesgoing into the sides of the door frame. I used a shop vac on tbe floor to control tbe concrete dust, drilled 1/4 inch pilot holes through the threshold and into tbe concrete, then 1/2 holes directly into the concrete to hold barrel type bolt anchors. The whole process took maybe 15 minutes and this drill, with good masonry bits, goes through concrete as easily as my 18v DeWalt drills through pine - seriously, it's that good!

I’m kicking myself in the rear for not buying this earlier, what a game changer!! One wall of my house is 14” pored concrete and I needed two 1-1/2 holes drilled. This drill ate through that with no problem in 10min. Have wore out two heavy duty drills with a “Hamer mode” and my patience which I gained back thanks to this drill. Worth every penny!

This drills performance surprised me. It is on par with the corded hilti drills we use at work. It is so much lighter and smoother to use as well. I think of all my battery tools of which I have many, this one is probably the most impressive by far.

Have used before on 2 5/8. Core bit and overheated the head but other than that it's been very beast. It's my second one first one had same similar issue so be careful!

Dewalt tools have always been reliable for me and last

I got tired of wasting a lot of time trying to drill into concrete with a hammer drill. Those are only okay if you only have one or two small holes to drill. The bits wear out fast, though, and if it's deep, you are standing there for a long time with a dull masonry bit. I went through that while mounting some electrical boxes and conduit along a basement wall with Tapcon screws. But that's a hammer drill. As my drill bit and my patience wore out, I decided to invest in something better. This is a rotary hammer. It's in another league from your old hammer drill. This thing uses "SDS Plus" bits. This things puts holes in concrete as easily as your regular drill puts holes in wood. Really. It's easy. It's fast. If you need to mount things on a concrete or brick wall, this is the way to do it. Dewalt makes two cordless SDS Plus rotary hammers. This is not as powerful, nor as expensive, as the other one, but for me it has been perfect. It is shockingly easy to drill into concrete. And this isn't recently poured concrete. This is 20 or 30 years old concrete, which is about as hard as it gets.

Totalmente Original, con toda la calidad de la marca, llegó en muy buen estado, y trabajar genial, para quellos que buscan un taladro para trabajos exigentes, solo necesitas conseguir une buena pila, ya que este viene sin ella, pero el costo lo valió por si solo... totalmente recomendable, se tardo un poco en llegar, unas 2 semanas, pero todo excelente.
