Great and inexpensive VNA
What are you waiting for? This thing is great! Much cheaper than an antenna analyzer and does a lot more. More fragile and a steeper learning curve. But, a few YouTube videos and a few pointed question to an AI Chatbot and once you get the hang of it it’s pretty easy to use.

Excellent budget tool (SD Card 'Fail write' error seems can be solved)
I use it for my hobby to make/tune HF/VHF/UHF antennas, HF baluns, ununs to measure SWR (it's nice to see a graph for entire band), insertion loss, reactance, Smith Chart and there is more parameters I didn't try/don't know about yet. But there are lots of good videos on youtube about how to use nanoVNA. Of course there are better much more expensive options for antenna tuning, but I'm on budget and it's excellent tool for the price. This unit does has some limitations: - microSD Card is a nice feature to save screenshots/data files, but I had problems with that. I returned first device because of 'Fail write' error (I tried different 16GB/32GB/128GB cards with no luck). I reordered nanoVNA again, and got the same error. But it looks like there is a solution I found in nanoVNA groups.io. This device does not support newer SD cards. So I found an older slow 16GB SD card, formatted in FAT32 on Windows, inserted SD card in device powered off, powered on device and it looks like it started to work with SD card. I tried the same card before and it didn't work. Not sure maybe it's because originally I inserted the card with device powered on or it had some format issues, but now it finally started to work. To be on safe side I would power off nanoVNA before inserting/ejecting the card. - Only 100 points of measure, so if I set entire 3.5-30MHz band device has a step about 250kHz that is not enough to tune multiband antenna to exact frequency on each ham band. Also device must be re-calibrated for each new band range that is not very convenient. However a good thing that several bands can be saved as a preset, so it's manageable. - Small TFT screen is okay for me, however it's hard to read data in a sunny day, so not the best option for outside. Also sometimes graph covers text, so text is unreadable. - Questionable reliability. It's packaged well and has nice cables, but it's not built like a tank. It's more for indoor use. If I had unlimited budget for my hobby I would get RigExpert for outside use or considered more expensive nanoVNA model with 400 points of measurement and probably bigger screen. But, for the price this model is a way to go for me. It does work and helps me a lot. Overall excellent value.

What a cool device.
The less ideal: Virtually no instructions unless you do some searching online, in which case they're easy to find. Included USBC cables are so tight I decided not to use them. Cables I already had were perfect fits (how do you mess up a USBC connector?) And though it claims to have an android app, the app is outdated and doesn't work with newer android versions. Ok, now we've gotten that out of the way. Now for the good parts: Easy to interface with computer, great features, not expensive, does things that you used to have to pay a lot more for a few years ago, hundreds more. I was able to easily see my antenna's behavior over the frequency ranges I need to use it for. It made tuning the antenna simple. It also made it easy to observe the cutoff points of my diplexer. It's just so useful and amazing to use. I'm really happy with the purchase.

Cool little device. Great for checking antennas
Awesome! Little device works as described

much better than an swr meter across multiple bands
I love this thing, it allows me to tune across a much broader band than an swr meter does, a very convenient feature for ham users where we have access to multiple bands not just one like cb users. It also allows tuning an antenna without the radio present, this is great to find resonance on the antenna without having to constantly key up across the band or multiple bands. Downside is it is an sma connector, which means for anything not sma you need adapters. It also can be difficult to learn at first. For the price point even figuring initial difficulty it is worth it to be able to tune with easy over oldschool swr meters for ham radio.

I use it all the time.
This is the first device I have owned like this. As a ham hobbyist, I was used to a standard analog SWR meter. I could tune an antenna to get decent results. I did not know what I did not know. Wow! Having the extra capabilities and ability to analyze antenna efficiency across a frequency band is incredibly helpful. This specific device is very serviceable. After reviewing a couple YouTube videos on setup and calibration of the device, I was up and running. This unit is the older version format with SMA connectors (newer / more expensive version uses PL239 connections). The package included the device, 2 SMA male/male cables, calibration connectors (open, short, load), a stylus and a wrist strap with guitar pick-like stylus. There is also a usb-c to usb-c jumper cable to connect the device to a smart phone. The device powers up quickly. Once you get frequency ranges set and calibrated you can store them in 1 of 5 memory slots. A few more would be nice but 5 is very serviceable for my needs. The touchscreen is the resistive type (think old PalmPilot). That is why the guitar pick stylus is a nice touch. It can be a bit finiky and sometimes you have to tap twice or you may hit a soft button you don't intend to. Patience and remembering the feel of the older PDA days is helpful. So far, I haven't gone into settings that messed things up or couldn't be backed out of easily. I can't provide feedback on the precision of the device as I do not have anything to compare it to. However, results do speak for themselves. I have been able to diagnose some antenna and feedline issues on several setups and get them resolved. Much improved function of my antenna systems. Battery doesn't last as long as I had expected. About an hour of continuous use (best guess - I haven't done a full battery function test). Not an issue though as the device works while plugged in for charging. There are several options for the type of graphic display of the signal results. I mostly use the SWR but am learning the Smith Chart and like it very much. More fidelity of information. I have had no issues with the product so I haven't needed to contact customer support. Product is functional and more finished than earlier versions of the NanoVNAs I have seen online. Overall, I highly recommend this product. The range of functions are far more than my ability to use. For the price point, you can't go wrong.

Works Great for Tuning Antennas
I have now tuned two end fed half wave ham radios with this analyzer. It works very well for that purpose. Now for the complaint(s). No instructions are included. So, YouTube will become your best friend. There is an online manual but I found YouTube to be an easier source of information. The screen is small but it is still very easy to read once you get it set up for your needs. A lot of the ham radio operators in my area like this analyzer as well.
