Self Tanner - USA Made with Natural & Organic Ingredients

I really loved this self-tanner in Medium. It's a white lotion that applies just like a regular moisturizer, thick and creamy, and rubs in without staining anything. It does take a little extra rubbing to fully absorb since it's so moisturizing, but it feels great on afterward. The scent is a coconut, tropical vibe and I barely noticed any of that typical self-tanner smell. The color it gave and the natural ingredients are what really sold me. It gave me a nice, even tan that looked completely natural, not that intense fake orange look I usually try to avoid. Overall this is a great pick if you want a glow without the mess of foams or sprays and the harmful ingredients of traditional self-tanners.

I got this bc it was all over my IG feed and figured I’d try it & it’s actually not bad! Mild smell to begin with like sunscreen but fades to almost no residual smell. Nice bc it just rubs in & you don’t have to wash it off later like other tanners. It’s got a sliiiightly orange tint but not bad. I did 2 coats of light and I def look tanner. Easy. Bc it’s just a thick lotion. Goes on with a white cast so you see where it is then soaks in. And not too bad even on the weird places like wrist and ankles. Def worth the trial if you are looking for a new sunless tanning option.

This tanning lotion is amazing. I'm so pale that it scares people, but I put this on after a shower at night and wake up looking glowy, sun-kissed, and totally natural. It doesn't leave streaks on your skin, and the color doesn't transfer onto your clothes or sheets. It's so easy to use, and it works so well. Taking off one star for two reasons: 1) The directions suggest reapplying every 4-6 days, but, for me, the color is definitely faded before the fourth day. Having to reapply more often than I would like means running out of product more quickly, which means I'll have to purchase more frequently, and I don't know if I can justify spending so much so often. For now, it's worth the slightly hefty price. 2) The smell. From other reviews, I know some people are bothered by the smell while others are not, and unfortunately, I am one of the few who have an issue with it. It's not rancid, it's not overwhelming, and it's not terrible enough for me to stop using the tanning lotion, but I definitely don't like it. You know how you smell after being in the yard, under the sun all day? Not like B.O., but kinda musky, kinda earthy? Like you could really wash your hands? Yeah, that's how I smell after using this lotion. Not right away, but after it really sinks in. And it fades eventually, but it lasts long enough for me to spend a day at work feeling self-conscious even though I thoroughly showered everything off in the morning. That being said, my mother caught a whiff of me and said, "Oooh! Coconut!" so maybe smell just varies from nose to nose. Anyway, I 100% recommend this for my sickly-pale friends who don't want to look orange and artificial but could definitely use a little bit of color.

The best sunless tanning lotion!! It’s easy to apply, streak free, and actually smells really good. It gives a sun kissed glow without any orange or green tint like some others do. And the best part for me is the clean ingredients. Overall this is a 10/10 for me!

I live in Miami, but believe it or not, I don’t always have time to actually sit in the sun and tan — and I definitely don’t want to look pale! 😄 I’ve tried quite a few self-tanners, and this one has honestly been my favorite so far. I love that it’s made with natural ingredients and actually leaves my skin feeling soft and moisturized instead of dry. The color develops into a beautiful, natural-looking tan and lasts really well on my skin. Another huge plus for me: it didn’t stain my white bedding! I was worried about that, but my sheets stayed clean. The tan lasts a long time, fades nicely, and doesn’t look overly orange or fake. After trying so many different self-tanners, this is definitely the one I’ll keep using. Highly recommend!

I bought the Beauty by earth self tanner (medium) after trying several drugstore Tanners that either turned me, orange, streaky, or patchy. This one is easily the most natural looking tan I’ve gotten from a lotion, it’s gentle enough that I don’t worry about irritation. The texture is creamy and feels more like a moisturizer than a typical self tanner. It spreads evenly, doesn’t dry too fast, and gives me enough time to blend around knees, ankles, and wrist. I love that it’s made with aloe vera, coconut oil, and natural ingredients- It doesn’t have that harsh chemical smell most self tanners have, instead it has a light, clean smell. The color developed gradually over a few few hours, and the result is a soft, believable tan with no orange undertone. Even on areas that usually give me trouble ( like my shins and forearms) , the color came out, smooth and even. I didn’t get streaks, and it didn’t cling to dry patches. The medium shade is perfect if you want noticeable color without looking overly bronzed. One thing I appreciate is how buildable it is. One application gives a natural glow, but two days in a row gives a deeper tan that still looks like my skin.-just healthier and sun-kissed. It also fades evenly instead of breaking apart in patches, which is a huge plus., The only downfall is that it takes a few minutes to fully absorb, so I let it dry before dressing. But once it’s set, it doesn’t transfer to clothes or sheets. Overall, the self tanner lives up to its reputation. It’s moisturizing, clean, and produces one of the most natural tans I’ve gotten from a bottle. If you want a sunless tan that looks like your skin but better, this is absolutely worth it.

Okay so I’ve ordered this self tanner about 4 times now and have been using it every week so I definitely have some pros and cons to share. Pros: if you struggle with applying foam self tanner or doing spray tans, etc this gradual tanning lotion might be easier for you. Every time I used the foam tanners it came out noticeably splotchy and uneven. This product is much better about that; however, it still turns out a bit uneven in some spots where for some reason it decided not to develop. I can use this on my face without it causing any breakouts so that’s huge. No color transfer on my sheets or clothes. Cons: The fading is so bad. It gets splotchy and starts to peel on about day 6 for me. I remove and reapply every week. This product takes multiple applications to get the medium tan color I want. 1 application hardly does anything at all, I don’t think it even makes me 1 shade darker and I’m ghostly pale. (Hence the dedication to using tanners lol) So yeah I definitely would not consider this a medium shade tanning product- it should be advertised as “very light” because like I said, I have to apply for 3 days for an effective tan. This also obviously causes the issue of using a ton of product which in turn leads to spending more money than should be necessary. I’m going to try Norvell’s gradual tanning lotion and if theirs is darker on first application, I’ll stick with using them until I’m notified that Beauty by Earth improved their formula to give an actual medium tan. I think this is a formula issue, but after opening and using the bottle of tanning lotion, on the next application (7 days later) the tanner is almost completely useless. I’m serious- for some reason the product hardly tans my skin after being opened for a week. I always click shut the bottle cap, so it’s not like the product is exposed to air or anything. Idk it’s super weird. Lastly, about 20 mins after application the product causes some “stinging” to my skin. It kind of burns a little (not in a completely unbearable way though) so this makes me wonder if all the ingredients are ACTUALLY natural or not. OVERALL: I’ve stuck with this tanner because I’m so much better at applying gradual lotion tanners and I hate the process of trying new ones. However, now’s the time for me to move on to a brand that performs better until this company fixes their product to perform better.

Fast forward a few hours, and I was admiring my new golden glow in the mirror, feeling like a bronzed goddess. Feeling confident, I decided to head out for the day and run some errands. As I was walking through the grocery store, I noticed a man giving me some odd looks. At first, I thought he was checking me out, but then he approached me and said, "Excuse me, miss, but I think you have something on your shirt." I looked down to see what he was talking about, only to realize that the self-tanner had rubbed off onto my shirt in a few places, leaving some pretty obvious streaks. Mortified, I quickly made my way to the restroom to assess the damage. To my horror, I discovered that not only had the self-tanner rubbed off onto my shirt, but it had also stained my hands and feet an alarming shade of orange. I looked like I had just spent a week in a tanning bed gone wrong. The rest of my day was spent avoiding eye contact with anyone, trying to keep my orange hands and feet hidden from view. I felt like a walking advertisement for the dangers of self-tanning. Once I got home, I immediately jumped in the shower and scrubbed the self-tanner off as best as I could. But even after all that, I was still left with some residual streaks and orange stains on my skin. Thankfully, I had another trick up my sleeve - lemon juice! I had read that lemon juice can help remove self-tanner stains, so I squeezed some onto a washcloth and started scrubbing away. To my surprise, it actually worked! The lemon juice helped remove most of the stains, leaving me with just a hint of a tan and no more orange hands or feet. Despite my initial mishap, I continued to use the Beauty by Earth Self Tanner over the next few weeks, making sure to apply it carefully and avoid wearing light-colored clothing until it had fully dried. And let me tell you, once I got the hang of it, the results were fantastic. Not only did I have a natural-looking tan, but I also felt confident and radiant in my new skin. I even received compliments from friends and family, who couldn't believe how natural and even my tan looked. One of the things I love most about this self-tanner is that it's made with natural and organic ingredients, which is a huge plus for me. I try to be conscious about the products I use on my skin, and knowing that this one is free of harsh chemicals and synthetic fragrances gives me peace of mind. With no streaks and smells gorg!! If you’re looking to switch from your tox tan products to something healthier, choose this, you won’t regret it 💖✨

Bought this for the low toxicity but it is honestly the best self tanner I've ever used. No need to rinse a few hours after applying, no odour, natural colour, no streaking. I'm using a mitt to apply and it is thicker than other self self tanners, but it still goes on quite smoothly (just a tiny bit more time to make sure it's even)

Great product. The fair to medium is a lovely colour and it is easy to apply. Speedy delivery too.
