Honestly can’t rate this I haven’t opened it
I have this five stars solely to tell the story of this net.I bought this for my dad for Christmas months in advance because it was an ad and seemed perfect. He’s recently retired and discovered pickle ball. Well, the exact same day the box was delivered to my house my dad called me to tell me he was going to the ER because he was playing with the dog and something popped and his arm won’t move. Turns out, he ruptured his bicep tendon. I decided to gift him the set anyway as he would eventually be able to use his arm again. Well he recently got the go ahead to use his arm normally and tragedy struck again. Last week my dad texted me that he fell walking the dog and his pinky (on the other arm) was clearly dislocated. He went to the ER, had it popped back into place, and scheduled to see the hand surgeon. They confirmed he needed surgery and two days later had his hand fixed. Moral of the story, there is literally nothing wrong with this pickleball set, my dad is clearly just finding really dramatic ways to get out of telling me he didn’t want an at home pickleball court.

Great for indoor use
We purchased this half court pickle ball set for our two nephews to burn off some energy during the winter months. The net set up easily and is perfect for a finished basement. The included paddles are wooden and work well for adults and children. There's no sack to put it into when it's not in use.

Great for driveway drills, dinking, and just having fun!
This Franklin Sports half-court pickleball net allows us to drill and dink in our driveway. It is really easy to set up. We don't leave it outside, so when we take it down, we just take the net off and pull the frame apart, in half, and store it all in the garage. I will say that set up has to involve two people, otherwise, I'm not sure how one person could affix the net on both sides of the frame. Same with taking the net off. We found that we kind of have to gently push one net post toward the opposite net post and incrementally from both sides slide the net down or up. The net itself isn't very heavy duty, like the ones you're used to playing with, but so far it's holding up for us. We just enjoy using it on a whim to practice out in the driveway, which is nice because we don't even have to leave home. Oh, and it does come with a couple balls, which we've long since used up, and also two wooden Franklin paddles, which we haven't tried yet, but is definitely nice if you're just starting out and looking for a complete pickleball setup.

We’re hooked!
This was the best purchase for my husband and I to get off the couch and do something active and fun a few hrs a night while trying to better our game. The paddles are cheap, but for just learning to ht they were fine. Our kids and grandkids loved playing in the driveway when they visited. Totally worth the purchase.

Easy set up
Easy to set up for driveway play. We keep it in garage to make the net last longer but for extended storage it’s easy to take partially apart. Grandson loves it.

Pretty ok set
Just opened this for the first time today. If I’m totally honest, I’m kind of torn on my opinion.Pros:-Easy to assemble. My seven-year-old got tired of waiting for me so he figured it out by himself. Pieces easily snap together, no tools necessary. It will be easy to set up and breakdown anytime.-The net actually sits sturdier than I expected. It stretches tight and since the poles are metal, it’s perfect and does exactly what it’s made to do.Cons:- I’m no pickleball expert but I have played a couple of times. These balls and paddles are cheaply made and definitely not the ones we will be using to play. The balls feel flimsy and lower quality than others I have played with.-The paddle is just a single piece of wood sandwiched between two pieces for the handle. They aren’t glued tightly together so the paddle rattles when it hits the ball.-The grip tape on the handle unraveled within the first few minutes of use.Overall- i would say I am happy with the net, and will probably hang on to the paddles and balls just to use as back ups when literally no other option is available. Considering it’s half court size, you probably get what you pay for and get the quality one might expect. It’s perfect for backyards and great for kids. So if that’s the goal- buy it. But if the goal is a real pickle ball experience, I would say keep looking.
