Great for stubborn ear wax! - UPDATE 02/21/2019
I have been using a bulb type system for years. This unit does a highly superior job with very little effort. I have very stubborn ear wax and it appears this is going to remove ear wax within 2-3 sessions. Highly recommended. 09/16/2018 - UPDATE. This has been one of the best purchases I have made in years. Have experimented with different types of ear wax softeners and found the very best, for me. to be Baby Oil. Put that in the night before and irrigate the next day. My left ear was totally blocked with ear wax. Woke up about 4:30 A.M., put in some Baby oil, 4 hours later used this device and within 15 minutes ear was clear. The wax was impacted to the point of causing an ear ache. Super impressed with this device. UPDATE 02/21/2019 Continue to be impressed with this device. Normal ear cleaning with a "bulb" type of cleaner would take 10-20 minutes and end feeling nauseous. Treated error with baby oil and ear was clean after one tank of water, did a second tank just to be sure. Total time about 2 minutes and no nauseous feeling to boot. Can not say enough good about this device. Wish I had known about this year ago!

Simple, safe, and effective
I got tired of going to an ENT every two years to have my ears cleaned of cerumen build-up and impaction. I looked for alternatives to an ENT or Minute Clinic, but all the market offered were special ear drops that softened the ear wax. Such products are unnecessary, as hydrogen peroxide poured into the ear does essentially the same thing (and better, too). Note, also, that a few droplets of olive oil will do the trick, as well. My problem, ultimately, was extraction of the ear wax. There is nothing on the market that provides people the means by which to carefully and effectively remove the cerumen from the ear canal. I researched the Bionix Otoclear tip and was intrigued by its design, but found I needed a medical license to purchase it. Thankfully, this technology was provided here on Amazon, coupled with a Waterpick Flosser unit and three adapter wands. There was even a small collection of plastic curettes provided—tools I've been searching for but could not obtain due, again, to the medical licensing issue. Very carefully, I used one of the curettes to remove some impacted cerumen (this is a potentially hazardous task to do on your own, so please go slowly and cautiously if you attempt this) and finished off the remaining wax with the irrigation method using the Waterpick and Otoclear tips. If took a few rinses, but I removed a large sum of wax from my right ear canal and I'm happy to report this device worked quite well for the task I purchased it for. Readers please note: This product may look intimidating, but do give it a try. Sticking a device that spurts water into your ear tends to be a little worrying, but rest assured that the three-jet spray moves along the inside of your ear canal, and does not directly target the tympanic membrane deep inside your ear. You may use all three speeds: low, medium, and high for water flow. Keep in mind that you want to fill the water pick with water that is room temperature, not too hot and not too cold. If you use water that is either too hot or cold, you may experience dizziness while using the device. Take it slowly and carefully, and you will have good results.

Overall a good buy
Worked great until just a few months past warranty

Make sure you get the temperature right otherwise you will feel dizzy as hell.
I have had a long term issue of having small loose ear hairs lay on my ear drum. This causes discomfort and issues with my hearing. Spray bottles were never enough to try to dislodge the hair on my ear drum. I followed the instructions and after two uses in pulse mode it finally disloged that tiny ear hair. I can actually hear out of my left ear.

Our Dr used something almost exactly like this on my husband and daughter
It came in a Waterpik box, missing the items mentioned on the actual box (water pik heads, vibrating toothbrush). I'm assuming the seller thought we wouldn't want something we paid for(?). We did receive 3 ear pick heads & plenty of replacement tips. The fact that some of the actual water pik parts were removed is why I'm leaving 2 stars. It feels dishonest of the seller to remove those parts, or at least not say why they aren't in the box. As far as how this works, it works well. Our Dr used something almost exactly like this on my husband and daughter, and it's something we've wanted to purchase for quite a while. I have to mention it is NECESSARY to use ear wax drops first. It's a necessary part of getting the hardened wax out of the ear. We left the drops in (while laying with ear up) for a good 30 min...then we used the irrigator to flush out the ear. Boy did it gross us out see how much was removed. Bottom line, its a good product, but it is just a waterpik flosser w/ an adapter & special head...you could probably price buying a waterpik & the head & adapters separately and it may be cheaper.

Use this...DONT EVER USE QTIPS
I highly recommend this product. I have always had problems with excessive wax build up due to ear infections at a young age. This product works very well. In my first use of it, it was removed a tic tac sized lump of wax that was blocking my ear canal. So it is very effective. Backing it up with a prescribed or Over the counter ear drops to break up the wax makes this devise all the more effective. I've been using once a month and its been great. Use warm water and start the devise when it is in your ear. This will make you never want to use Qtips in your ears again. You shouldnt be doing that anyway, but this ear cleaner will get the job done way better. On another plus side it is also the water flosser. So you can spend a few extra dollars for the attachment of the water tooth flosser if you want. Also if you already have a water pick you may be able to just buy the ear irrigation attachment. I haven't looked into that but if you do already have a water pick then definatly look for getting just the attachment head and save yourself from having to buy a whole new device. I am happy with it. It lasts a long time as long as you take care of it. I hope you found this review helpful. Thank you.
