How is the projector screen for picture quality?

Perfect. I tried when received this movie screen the first day. Clear and bright. Better projection effect in a dark room.

Is it washable or not? the packaging says "do not wash" in all caps, but the listings says it is washable.

Hand wash only hang dry keep grommet from touching screen Spot wash if possible

Is the screen light enough to be held up with masking/painters tape?

No painters tape will not hold up the screen however the screen comes with hooks with a sticky back to hang where you like

How do you make it straight? I mounted it and it droops between the eye hook holes it looks stupid

My best guess would be to sacrifice a bit of screen and stretch it over a frame. Use the ropes and grommets to tie it in the back.
