Casual Home 3 Shelf Folding Stackable Bookcase, 27.5" Wide, Espresso

Super easy to use, no assembly and visually gorgeous. It’s relatively light but was able to handle my books with no wobbliness- seems to be made of real wood. If you need a bookshelf in these dimensions- highly recommend it. The only thing I didn’t love was the color but that was my fault (I didn’t know what mahogany meant) LOL.

This product was cheap and seems well made and solid. It set up easily and is attractive. So far, so good. On the other hand Amazon reviews are not as honest as you would assume. Amazon is a good source for purchasing products but its reviewing statements are censored.

The craftsmanship and quality is beautiful. They were meticulously packaged, yet so easy to unbox. It was as if someone had taken great care to put it together and like a gift, it opened on its own, unfolding as you removed the packaging. This is by far the best Amazon product I have ever seen. One reviewer commented about a chemical smell. I assure you not one of the 4 I ordered had any such smell. Good thing I didn’t read that earlier or I would’ve been discouraged from ordering. I’m glad I ordered these. They are a godsend, actually. I have quite the accumulation of books. They weigh only about 20 lbs each. They fit in my small living space, and actually add to the decor, not detract from it. The wood finish on the honey oak is great quality. With the price of wood here in the States shooting up since the pandemic, you can’t beat this price. I got a discount somehow, so that’s why I took the leap and ordered 4. The reason I didn’t give all stars is because one is more wobbly than the rest. That might be why one reviewer commented about that. Each unit is a bit different. One has a very tight fit, one is just loose - and the loose one has something dark, almost sticky looking on the bottom shelf. I don’t know if it’s part of the wood or a flaw. I didn’t see any quality control stamp of approval on a piece of paper. One unit had the hardware attached by a clever thread built into the box. Another unit didn’t - it was just in the box. The wobbly one could’ve been a return - I didn’t see hardware to go with it. The hardware isn’t actually needed at all unless you plan to attach it to a wall. Apparently the units are stackable. They do look like they would fit well. I’m not sending back the flawed one with the dark stain on the bottom. Maybe it’s a quirk of nature. Having Thai in the family, this is a welcome addition. One day my family will see “Made in Thailand” on the caution sticker saying don’t put a heavy TV set on this (maybe that’s the quality control or different). I just hope the laborers or whomever is running the shop are treated well. That’s my only concern.

Solid wook. Nice finish. Sturdy. Great look, not obtrusive in any decor. Foldable, not heavy, easy to move. 🙂🙂🙂

I like how easy it is to set up the bookcases and future moving is made simple by being able to fold the bookcases flat and move as two separate bookcases instead of one tall. They are not as sturdy as my solid wood (non stackable) bookcases but I am using these for paperback books and they work just fine for that. The finish is nice--I bought walnut. They look good. I did use pliers to pull the black pegs from the top bookcase as they are needed only when connecting the bottom bookcase to the top one if you are stacking two, but are unnecessary on the top one.

They're beautiful. The wood is a gorgeous color - Honey Oak. They are sturdy and there is no assembly. Just be sure to check the top of the box for the hardware to secure the bookshelf from falling. I emptied the box upside down so didn't see it right away. I also stacked them so it was more important to secure to wall. They were soooo worth the money. They added warmth and beauty to the room. Wish I had discovered them earlier!!

Nice bookcase. I’m actually using this as a catchall stand in my kitchen. It is sturdy, has three good size shelves and is just right for the spot I have it in. I would recommend this as a multipurpose piece of furniture. I have the little corner shelf as well and it is great too. The finish on it is very nice and it goes together instantly without any hassles.

Very solid and stackable shelves that look gorgeous in my room. Fair warning! Although I ordered the 'Walnut' colour, it looks a lot more like a 'cherry' colour. I like it well enough though, so it's fine.The little nubs that fit each shelf together don't seem to be removable, sadly, but at least they're not falling out easily either.These shelves are very easy to put together (and by that, there is no assebly required!) and they fold up handily too.

I wanted something sturdy but easy to move and fairly light. This shelf is perfect! I ordered two and stacked them - I get 12 inches height between shelves, which fits most of my books.

Well made, exactly as expected. No assembly required and quite portable. However I would not fill all of the shelves with hundreds of pounds of books.

Love this foldable bookcase. Easy to store when not in use. Fits great in my pantry.
